The new Land Rover Defender arrives in Spain with great force, and these are its prices
The new Land Rover has just landed in the Spanish market, where its long-wheelbase version will have a starting price of 61,300 euros.

This latest edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show has shown us important new developments, with the new Land Rover Defender being one of the most significant. Fans of the 4×4 world have welcomed the arrival of this new generation, tasked with reinvigorating the segment and fighting off the SUVs that are trying to take its place. However, after witnessing the overwhelming technological and mechanical showcase offered by the new Defender, our curiosity about its price grew eagerly. Now, just a few weeks before the Frankfurt Motor Show comes to an end, we already know how much we will have to pay to get our hands on a Land Rover Defender in Spain.
The British brand has created a clear rival for the kings of the segment, who have been ruling it since time immemorial. Vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, the Jeep Wrangler or the Toyota Land Cruiser have been joined by a new contender for the title from Britain, and the battle begins with seeing which of them offers the better value for money.
Available from 61,300 euros
We know that Land Rover will offer its new Defender in both short and long wheelbase versions, but for now only the prices of the 110 have been revealed. At the same time, a range of four engines will bring the English 4×4 to life, offering outputs between 200 and 400 CV.

Starting with the Defender 110 in its basic form, we find a vehicle that can be paired with each and every one of the engines. Land Rover asks 61,300 euros for the 110 fitted with the most modest powertrain, a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel capable of producing 200 CV. On the next step up we find the same engine producing 240 CV, a figure that pushes the price up to 65,900 euros.
A third engine, also a 2.0-litre four-cylinder but this time petrol, delivers 300 CV. If we want this to be the powertrain driving our Defender, we will have to pay a total of 68,400 euros. Last but not least, we find a powerful 3.0-litre six-cylinder inline unit capable of producing 400 CV, although to have this power at our command we will have to face a price of 78,800 euros.

Taking advantage of the Defender’s launch, Land Rover has released what it calls the Defender First Edition. This variant not only expands the equipment, but also the starting price, which rises to 82,300 euros. In the case of the First Edition, only two engines are available: the 240 CV diesel and the 400 CV six-cylinder.
At the top of the range we find the Defender 110 X, the most luxurious and well-equipped version of the English off-roader. It has a starting price of 112,600 euros and can only be fitted with the most powerful engine in the range. Despite this more outlandish and less affordable figure, we know that Land Rover will launch the short-wheelbase version for 54,800 euros.
