The Peugeot 3008 with the Hybrid 195 plug-in hybrid engine is now on sale
The Peugeot 3008 continues to expand its offering, and now it does so with the Hybrid 195 plug-in hybrid engine, which is already available in Spain

At the beginning of last autumn, the Peugeot 3008 was completely redesigned with a bolder new look that marked a radical change. This change was also accompanied by others, such as technological ones, both in terms of the functionality of the infotainment system and the hardware that makes it up, as well as the latest advances in safety and driver assistance.
At launch, only the fully electric version was available, the Peugeot e-3008, which at the time and still today is powered by a 210 CV (157 kW) motor driving the front axle, with a lithium-ion battery that allows it to achieve a range of 525 kilometres. Later, specifically at the end of the year, the 3008 with a mild-hybrid (MHEV) engine joined the line-up, delivering 136 CV and characterised by very low consumption figures.

The Peugeot 3008 now welcomes a new engine that will expand its range and therefore its appeal to reach more potential customers. This is the engine called Hybrid 195, which is plug-in hybrid. This powertrain combines a 1,600 cc PureTech turbo petrol engine producing 150 CV with a 92 kW (125 CV) electric motor, resulting in a combined system output of 195 CV. This power is sent to the front axle through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
It should not be forgotten that this plug-in hybrid system also includes a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 17.8 kWh, which can be charged in approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes using a 7.4 kW charger, while charging time rises to around 9 hours and 5 minutes when using a standard domestic socket. With this battery, the Peugeot 3008 offers a range of 87 kilometres in fully electric mode under the WLTP combined cycle.

As with the rest of the available engines, the Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 195 will also be initially available in the Allure trim, which includes the following standard equipment:
