The Peugeot 408 electric sets the lion's style with a bold and dynamic look
The Peugeot 408 comes with a dynamic style, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric engines, so that every driver can enjoy it.

The Peugeot 408 features a fastback style that sets the tone for the C-segment at the French brand, where it shares its segment with other models that enjoy the approval of drivers. The model is built at the Mulhouse plant in France and has been designed to enhance its dynamic and versatile appearance.
The headlights are the main signature of the model. To achieve this, the distinctive lights of the Peugeot have been reinterpreted. The three inclined LED lines mimic the lion’s claws and give the front a more aggressive look. The brand emblem is illuminated on the GT and GT Exclusive trims.

Light is also present in the PEUGEOT letters placed on the rear, something new for the brand that makes its light signature equally important at the back. They are integrated into an LED strip, and at both ends of the rear you can see the three-claw rear lights clearly visible.

The front headlights have been placed lower, so they sit below the distinctive Peugeot lights, which not only provide good visibility for the driver but also allow the car to be clearly identified from a distance. The dipped beam module is located at the bottom, while the main beam is above. However, when switched off, both light units are almost unnoticeable as they blend into the black front trim.

The Allure and Allure Business trims feature Peugeot Full LED technology, while the GT and GT Exclusive trims enjoy PEUGEOT Matrix LED technology. The radar is located behind the emblem, so it goes unnoticed and ensures its correct operation.
Also at the front we find a redesigned grille, as well as the bumper, with plenty of black detailing that blends with other body-colour elements to integrate it organically.

Other design details
As for the wheels, the hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions are fitted with 19-inch Adatike wheels with a geometric shape design that creates contrast with the circular form of the wheels. On the lower trim levels, Allure and Allure Business, these wheels are optional, while they come as standard with 17-inch wheels.
New body colours, more intuitive controls and features such as ambient lighting to create a more pleasant space.
Battery and motors
The battery of the Peugeot 408 electric uses high-voltage NMC technology, with a capacity of 58.2 kWh, which gives it a range of 456 kilometres on the WLTP cycle. The motor delivers an output of 157 kW, equivalent to 213 CV. The battery can be charged at a maximum power of 120 kW, allowing it to charge in a reasonable time under the right conditions.
The plug-in hybrid version uses a powertrain made up of a 180 CV combustion engine combined with a 92 kW electric motor, located in the e-DSC7 seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The hybrid model uses a 145 CV petrol engine and an electrified gearbox with six speeds. In this case, the electric motor is used to provide more torque when needed.
The cabin has enough space to travel comfortably and has been equipped to be pleasant. The driver assistance systems package is very complete and offers all the safety needed for a relaxed drive.
