The SEAT Ateca gets an off-road look thanks to JE Designs and becomes a spectacular car

The SEAT Ateca is one of the new crossovers from the Spanish brand. They are not cars for tackling difficult terrain, even though they are designed for unpaved roads. But a dealership of the Spanish brand in Germany wanted to dress a SEAT Ateca as a fully fledged off-road vehicle and has created a version suited to giving the image of a vehicle capable of handling any terrain.

The SEAT Ateca All-Terrain, on which the German customiser worked, is an Ateca Xcellence. To achieve the desired look, the bodywork has been covered in matt khaki vinyl, which gives it a more adventurous touch. But this is not the only measure taken to turn it into a car ready to venture into complicated terrain.

The wheel arches grow by 35 millimetres, and protective mouldings in matt silver have been added to the front and rear, a roof spoiler and LED lights on a bar at the front. An important factor in gaining off-road capability is ground clearance. The SEAT Ateca has increased its height by 30 millimetres, of which 10 millimetres come from the 215/65 R16 all-terrain tyres, mounted on 16-inch alloy wheels that protrude thanks to spacers.

For the exhaust, JE Design has fitted a stainless steel silencer, which improves the engine sound and reinforces the adventurous image of this model. This pack is available for any version of the SEAT Ateca, but with some nuances. For example, the wheel arches, the LED light panel on the roof and the lower protections will only be available on the FR and Cupra Ateca versions, while the sport silencer is limited to the SEAT Cupra FR with the 2.0 TDI engine and 4Drive all-wheel drive. Either way, the SEAT Ateca gains presence and performance for a not very high price and becomes a more striking car.
