The sixth generation of the Renault Clio is already on sale at Spanish dealerships
The newly unveiled sixth generation of the Renault Clio has arrived at Spanish dealerships, where it can already be ordered, with deliveries starting in 2026

Last September, Renault unveiled the sixth generation of the Clio at the IAA Munich show. The model has been on the market for more than 35 years and has kept breaking records generation after generation, reaching the sixth with a radical change to its exterior styling and dimensions that move it a little further away from the small city car that captured Europe in the 1990s.
Built to compete in the B segment, the new Renault Clio grows in length to 4,120 mm and has a width of 1,770 mm, all wrapped in a completely new body. The most striking feature is the new front end, dominated by a front grille split into two sections and patterned with diamonds, like the Renault logo. The rear design is no less bold, with a generously sized tailgate whose edge extends into a discreet spoiler formed by the bodywork itself, framing the striking four rear lights that seem to look at us aggressively.

The interior design is built around a raised dashboard where, as expected, the screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster stand out, both in an elevated position alongside the air vents. Lower down, there are more central air vents, along with the few buttons remaining on the centre console and the new steering wheel, which is not actually new as it is also used in other models from the brand. Naturally, everything inside, now slightly more spacious, will depend on the three trim levels available.

This brings us to the equipment the Renault Clio will have in Spain, starting with the Evolution trim, which is the entry point to the range and comes with the following standard equipment:

Mechanically, for the first time the new Renault Clio will have no diesel engines in its sixth generation. Its engines start with the three-cylinder 1,200 cc TCe petrol rated at 115 CV, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. An EDC dual-clutch automatic will be added later. The next step up in power is the Hybrid E-Tech (HEV) 160 CV engine with an intelligent multimode gearbox. Later, it will also be available with the Eco-G engine, which runs on LPG and delivers 120 CV, paired with the EDC automatic gearbox.
The new Renault Clio can already be ordered in Spain at the discounted prices detailed below. The first units to arrive, in early 2026, will be those equipped with the Hybrid E-Tech engine, and from March onwards, those with the other petrol engines.
