The Spanish supercar Tramontana XTR makes a comeback at the SEMA show in Las Vegas

Although it appeared only briefly on the supercar market several years ago, this model returns transformed into an elegant wasp on wheels

It is one of those ultra-exclusive car brands that break the mold. Supercars built in such small numbers that each one turns out to be a unique jewel, thanks to the care manufacturers take to ensure that every car is different, to the buyer’s taste. In Spain we are lucky to have several companies that build cars of this kind, and besides the GTA Spano, a few years ago we were able to enjoy (from a distance, of course) the Tramontana XTR, a car that combined the concept of the supercar with that of the fighter jet.

Very few units of this model were made and it disappeared from the market, since Atelier Tramontana, the company that built it, switched to making cars to order. We bring this model back to the front line because at the SEMA, the car customization event in Las Vegas, one of them could be seen, but reworked by the professionals at Vilner, who presented it in an even more spectacular way than we remembered.

This model was launched five years ago and now returns transformed, with a black body finished with golden touches that give it a truly spectacular look. Vilner started working on the body from scratch, so it decided to paint it matte black. It then designed several elements in gold, to create a truly striking image. The fighter-jet look helps create that eye-catching impression, which to me personally recalls a wasp.

The interior, which resembles the cockpit of one of these fighter jets, with two seats in tandem, keeps that same color scheme and design. Black dominates the space, and the golden touches appear on the speaker edges, the gauges and other points, as you can see in the image gallery that accompanies this article.

As for the engine, it seems it has not been changed, so this spectacular car is still powered by a 5.5-litre V12 that produces 876 CV, enough to exceed 350 km/h. What do you think of this showcase of Spanish engineering reworked by one of the most interesting customizers to exhibit at SEMA?
