Alfa Romeo MiTo and Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde: sporty spirit
Alfa Romeo has announced the launch of two of its sportiest and most exciting models, the MiTo and Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde. These are the high-performance versions of their respective ranges, with outputs of 170 and 240 CV respectively.

The sportiest and most emotional versions of the MiTo and Giulietta are being updated, thus completing the renewal of the Italian models’ range.
These two sporty models will go on sale in Europe over the coming weeks, completing their respective ranges at the top end.
Giulietta QV
The compact Alfa Romeo Giulietta gets a new flagship for its range with this new QV. One of the main changes over its predecessor is the engine, which has been updated to deliver 240 CV. It is the same engine found in the 4C, which gives us an idea of the level of sportiness the Italian brand wants to instil in this model.

Combined with the 1.750 Turbo direct-injection engine, there is a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox (TCT) that features a new Launch Control system. The Giulietta QV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, while also reducing consumption and emissions. In fact, this new engine, with its aluminium block, exceeds the Euro 6 anti-pollution standard.

Other differences compared with its siblings in the range relate to the braking system, featuring 4-piston calipers signed by Brembo. The discs are also oversized.
Inside, the leather sports seats and the specific instrument cluster with the “QV” logo tell us we are dealing with something very “serious”.
MiTo QV
In the case of the MiTo, the Italian brand’s city car, the process has been similar. The Quadrifoglio Verde sports version has been updated in every respect, starting with the engine. The maximum output of its 1.4 Turbo engine rises to 170 CV, which, combined with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 219 km/h.

This engine also reduces emissions and consumption, now rated at 5.4 litres per 100 km and 124 grams of CO2 per km driven. Driving is now sportier and more fun, thanks to new settings for the steering, suspension and braking system.

The QV comes with plenty of exclusive equipment, such as Magnesio Grey paint, 17-inch alloy wheels and Brembo-signed brakes. Inside, the highlights are the sports seats, the steering wheel with contrasting stitching and the specific instrument cluster.
