Ferrari LaFerrari Convertibles Hybrid Cars Curiosities Supercars
Finally we're seeing the Ferrari LaFerrari Spider, although at 1:43 scale

For several months now we have been eager to see the convertible version of the supercar from the cavallino rampante, and although it seems to be getting closer every day, our impatience grows each time a small detail of the Ferrari LaFerrari Spider comes to light.
The closed-roof LaFerrari was launched with a production run limited to 500 units and as the successor to recent great creations from Ferrari such as the Enzo and other older gems for the most discerning collectors such as the F50 or the earlier F40. In other words, the Ferrari LaFerrari will be remembered by everyone 30 and 50 years from now as one of the best supercars the brand has ever built.
The fact is that we are aware that the Ferrari LaFerrari will have a convertible sibling named “Spider”. Although it is not official, the rumor that only 150 units of the open-top version will be produced carries considerable weight. In fact, some public figures have already reserved one, as chef Gordon Ramsay claimed on the new Top Gear show while chatting with Chris Evans.
Until now, this open-top version could only be imagined, although we saw a small sketch of its silhouette a few months ago that guaranteed the production of this model.

I don’t know whether you’ll remember that vehicles such as the Volvo S90 or the V90 were leaked not long ago through photographs of Chinese scale models. When the models were officially revealed, they were identical to the scale vehicles.
Now, we have received images of a supposed 1:43 scale model of the Ferrari LaFerrari Spider. If this scale replica is identical to the final model from the Italian brand, the LaFerrari Spider will be a hard-top convertible with a manually removable roof, since the drop in the bodywork shape behind the seats does not allow for a retractable hard top or soft top to fold and stow away.
The most logical outcome would be for the Spider version to keep the naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine and the electric part, since remember that this Ferrari is the company’s first model with hybrid propulsion, with 963 horsepower in total.
Nobody guarantees that this model, which has a price of $430 (about 380 euros), is an exact replica of the final model. Fans of the brand want it to arrive right now, no matter what its styling is, but they want it to arrive right now.
