G-Power takes the new BMW M5 CS up to 900 hp
The BMW M5 CS could offer up to 900 hp thanks to G-Power.

The BMW M5 CS is one of the most powerful members of the Bavarian carmaker’s performance division, but if that still seems like too little, G-Power makes it easy for you. In case you didn’t know, the BMW M5 CS is the lightest, most powerful and, of course, most expensive version of the revamped BMW M5 range. Despite its great power, some owners may want to make it even more powerful.
The original BMW M5 CS features a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine capable of producing 636 hp and 750 Nm of maximum torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an M xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

G-Power’s BMW M5 CS can reach up to 900 hp
The entry-level tuning package is called GP-700, and includes software updates that take the BMW M5 CS up to 700 hp and 850 Nm of maximum torque. The next package is called GP-740, which includes the GP Deeptone exhaust system and delivers 740 hp and 900 Nm. Next is the GP-780, which offers 780 hp and 950 Nm.
The GP-820 kit has more hardware modifications that result in 820 hp and 1,000 Nm. Finally, customers can opt for the true flagship, the GP-900 package, which reaches a maximum output of 900 hp and 1,050 Nm. This turns the BMW M5 CS into a true supercar. This immense power has been achieved thanks to upgraded turbochargers, sport suspension and a Deeptone exhaust system.

G-Power was already offering many options for the BMW M5 before the facelift, including the G5M Hurricane RS and the G5M Hurricane RR, which will continue to be offered for the updated model, producing 840 or 900 hp. As for the design, the only differences from the standard M5 CS are the forged wheels and the 100 mm exhaust tips, available in carbon or forged carbon.
However, the tuner has more options available for those who want an aftermarket look, including the vented carbon-fibre bonnet GP-Ventury and the rear spoiler GP-Dynamic. The multi-spoke wheels of the Hurricane RS and the double-spoke wheels of the Hurricane RR are offered in 21 inches fitted with high-performance tyres measuring 285/30R21 at the front and 295/30R21 at the rear. Alternatively, the double-spoke wheels are also offered in 20 inches fitted with 275/35R20 and 285/35R20 tyres.

As for prices, the packages start from 2,495 euros for the software-only GP-700, but can rise to 23,640 euros for a fully equipped GP-820, and even more for the GP-900. For the Hurricane models, the total cost of the upgrades is 59,500 euros for the RS, and reaches 119,000 euros for the RR.
