Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD, rear-wheel drive arrives to make it even more fun to drive
The Lamborghini Huracán becomes an even more fun and pure supercar thanks to the new EVO RWD rear-wheel-drive version

It was around this time last year, exactly one year ago, when Lamborghini applied an update to its Huracán model with the EVO variant, a version that adopted numerous technical solutions from the Performance variant, the most radical version. Now the Huracán family will expand its lineup with the arrival of the EVO RWD, the most affordable and fun version we will encounter.
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD will be the purest and most instinctive version its future owners can drive, a version that is nonetheless equally radical, since under its bonnet sits the naturally aspirated V10, which for this version is slightly toned down, with power output of 610 CV and torque of 560 Nm. These figures allow it to reach 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and then a top speed of 325 km/h.

As I have already mentioned, the power will be sent entirely to the rear axle through the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, so the Huracán EVO RWD features specific settings for this version. These specific settings directly affect the P-TCS traction control, which delivers fun and excitement on any road surface. This is due to its different operation compared with conventional traction control, which causes an abrupt cut-off; with P-TCS, torque delivery is advanced to avoid a sharp drop and to ensure greater traction when exiting corners.
How the P-TCS traction control works, or rather when it intervenes, depends on the driving mode selected with the “Anima” button on the steering wheel:
- The Strada mode is the one to use in low-grip conditions, as P-TCS will manage torque delivery so as to minimise rear wheel slip, thereby guaranteeing greater stability and safety.
- In Sport mode, the next level, P-TCS is less intrusive and allows the wheels to slip and slide during acceleration, providing greater fun. Even so, safety is not compromised, as the system can detect when the oversteer angle increases rapidly and limits torque delivery, keeping the situation under control at all times.
- In Corsa mode, performance is maximised by having rear wheel slip optimise traction and agility when exiting corners; this mode is where the greatest evolution over the previous Huracán RWD is found.

Aesthetically, the exterior of the Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD differs in some details from the 4WD version, such as the new front spoiler and the vertical fins on the air intakes, which are now larger and feature a new decorative frame. At the rear there are also specific changes, such as a new diffuser painted in gloss black.
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD can now be ordered, and the first units will begin deliveries next spring, with a starting price in Europe set at 159,443 euros.
