MANHART raises the BMW M2 Competition to an incredible 700 CV

Diving into the world of sports cars while we wait for the new BMW M2 CS to be unveiled, we find an engineering and tuning masterpiece to ease the wait, courtesy of MANHART, this time with the legendary BMW M2 Competition, which they have tuned to deliver a staggering 700 CV, a figure that pushes the limits of adrenaline and sportiness. This astonishing achievement comes from the MH2 700 by MANHART, a coupé that has not only been technically optimized but also sports an appearance that highlights its undeniable performance capability.

The heart of this road monster lies under the bonnet. MANHART has managed to increase the power by roughly 75 percent, reaching a peak torque of 815 Nm. How did they do it? The MANHART ECU reprogramming is combined with a series of hardware upgrades, pushing the 3.0-litre twin-turbo S55 six-cylinder inline engine to its limits. This engine has undergone a MANHART turbo upgrade that includes a MANHART intercooler, a CSF water cooler, a MANHART carbon intake from ARMAspeed and a MANHART engine reinforcement that handles its 1200 hp, as well as MANHART charge pipes made of aluminium.

The icing on the cake is a MANHART stainless steel exhaust system with valve function and four 100 mm MANHART exhaust tailpipes in matt black. In addition, the vehicle benefits from MANHART Race downpipes and MANHART OPF Delete replacement pipes made of stainless steel, including 300-cell catalytic converters and the MANHART OPF/GPF Deleter, although these three components are intended exclusively for export, as they do not have TÜV approval.

Given this astonishing power, the MH2 700 has also been fitted with a crank hub by MANHART, a MANHART clutch upgrade and a MANHART Drexler differential. To maintain balance and ensure optimal control, a 3-way coilover suspension, the MANHART V3 Clubsport by KW, has been installed. In addition, a MANHART brake kit, including a cooling system, ensures first-class braking performance. At the front, the six-piston calipers from the F82 M4 GT4 act on 395×34 mm discs, while at the rear, four-piston calipers do the same on 380×30 mm discs. As an option, carbon-ceramic brakes are offered for those seeking extreme performance.

An incredible design in black with mint accents

As for its appearance, the MH2 700 refuses to be ordinary. In addition to the iconic MANHART Concave One wheels in matt black, measuring 9×20 and 10.5×20 inches respectively, the car features high-performance tyres sized 255/30 ZR20 and 295/25 ZR20. But the surprises don’t end there: this compact coupé features a carbon-fibre MANHART Clubsport rear spoiler, a MANHART CS-style bonnet, a carbon-fibre MANHART front splitter and a MANHART decal of exceptional design in black with mint green accents.

To add a more sporty touch, the side skirts, rear spoiler and diffuser, all made of carbon, come from the BMW M Performance programme. Finally, the interior has been upgraded with Recaro Sportster CS individual seats, a MANHART Clubsport roll bar and mint green colour details, along with an AWRON auxiliary display.
