Mansory presents its new catalogue of exclusive parts to turn your Mercedes-Benz S-Class into a machine with plenty of carbon fibre

The German tuner pays us another visit today, this time with the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class as the star. We told you the other day about its two latest creations: the Bentley Bentayga by Mansory and the Ferrari Portofino, but today it’s the turn of the luxury saloon from the star brand.

Lately, Mansory has accustomed us to fairly subtle modifications that turn your car into one of the most special, without resorting to huge wide-body kits, striking colours or enormous wheels. A winning formula for many.

A carbon-rich diet

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Black Edition signed by Mansory incorporates numerous carbon fibre parts across the whole car, while keeping the discreet and elegant touch the handsome Mercedes-Benz already has.

First of all, thanks to Mansory’s parts catalogue, we can fit a fine carbon fibre front lip of the good kind, which pairs very well with the two possible air intakes, with or without daytime running lights, which we can also have in carbon.

The side of Mansory’s new S-Class rests on new carbon fibre side skirts, which give it a more sporty look than the classic Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Besides the skirts, we can also fit a large carbon fibre side vent or, if we prefer something more classic, a smaller vent of the kind the Mercedes-Benz itself has already accustomed us to in its AMG versions.

The mirrors are also stars of the car’s side design, as we can choose from two options, both in carbon fibre, depending on whether we want a more sporty or more discreet design.

At the German’s rear, Mansory offers quite a few customisation options, including the classic carbon fibre logos signed by them that we are already used to.

The most radical way to personalise the car is the large carbon fibre diffuser which, together with the four exhaust outlets, gives a truly brutal look. There are two options: one fitted with a brake light in the middle of the diffuser, as if we were talking about a DTM car, and another without that light.

The diffuser can be accompanied by small splitters on both sides of the bumper to give the rear a greater sense of width.

On the upper part of the S-Class’s rear, we can fit a subtle spoiler on the boot lid or another on top of the rear window, both, of course, in carbon fibre.

Finally, to complete the exterior design section of the Mercedes-Benz, Mansory offers three attractive wheel designs as options, all of them 22-inch, in black, silver or two-tone finishes.

Inside the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Black Edition, we find luxury at the highest level wherever we look.

The steering wheel has been redesigned with more pronounced shapes and carbon fibre trim where the buttons for the infotainment system, the digital instrument cluster and other components are located.

The pedals have also been changed, as we can fit carbon fibre ones bearing the Mansory signature, which, together with the floor mats and the door sill plates bearing the German tuner’s name, just in case you had any doubt, make it perfectly clear that this is not a standard S-Class.

can be replaced entirely, from the intermediate pipes to the rear silencers with two outlets on each side.

The tuner also offers a lowered suspension with a firmer calibration for a somewhat spicier dynamic, bearing in mind that we are dealing with a car weighing 1,945 kg.

The cherry on top is provided by the so-called Mansory Performance PowerBoxMercedes-Benz Clase S Black Edition Mansory. A control unit that adds 93 hp, 110 Nm of extra torque and +20 km/h to an S500 S-Class, 87 hp, 116 Nm extra and +20 km/h to an S450 S-Class, and 67 hp, 139 Nm extra and 20 km/h to an S400 d 4MATIC S-Class, all including a 1-year warranty.

In this way, if we fit the Mansory Performance PowerBox to the most powerful S500, it will reach no less than 617 hp, 738 Nm of torque, a top speed of 290 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds.
