Pagani Zonda 760 MD, another one-off for this model that never dies

The Pagani Zonda is one of the most spectacular vehicles built in recent years. If we think back to when we first saw it, we have to look quite far into the past. In fact, it was born in the last millennium, hard as it may be to believe. The Zonda has been causing a stir since 1999 and no, it does not look like an old, outdated, dated car at all.

Although we have already seen other gems from the brand such as the Pagani Huayra or the more extreme version, the Huayra BC, the Pagani Zonda still has something. Something that keeps us in love with it, as if it were a perfect human/mechanical romance novel. But this is real life, and the best part is that it outlasts it.

Before you is one more one-off from the brand by Argentine Horacio Pagani which, in this case, is called the Pagani Zonda MD. Commissioned to order, this unique unit has a very striking body, and that’s because, thanks to a thin layer of blue paint, the carbon fibre can be seen when we are quite close to the hypercar.

It’s not only the paint that surprises; so does the curious air intake located on the roof. The aerodynamic kit of the bumpers, the wheels, the black brake calipers and the rear spoiler are to be expected on this type of vehicle.

In the cabin the blue tone of the exterior carries over and, as it could not be otherwise, the fortunate owner of this car gets sports seats, which in this case have been upholstered in brown leather on the sides and Alcantara in the centre.

Today it is hard to accept a manual gearbox in a car of this kindThe manual gearbox is very worth noting. Nowadays it is odd for buyers of high-luxury supercars not to opt for a manual transmission, which pleases us considerably, as it means there are still genuine enthusiasts who want to feel the gears of a beast like this.

The engine is, as always, sourced from AMG. In this case it is the naturally aspirated V12 with 7,300 cubic centimetres. It delivers 760 horsepower and yes, all of it reaches the tarmac through the rear wheels alone.
