Pininfarina’s best creations in a photo gallery as a tribute to this designer’s career.
This week we also have lost one of the most influential coachbuilders of the last 100 years of the automobile. Andrea Pininfarina has left us a legacy that includes creations from many brands, models and eras, vehicles that will remain as witnesses to this man’s passion for always achieving cutting-edge designs, whatever the era.
If there is one brand that Pininfarina always held closest to its heart, that is undoubtedly Ferrari. Somehow, it is said that Sergio convinced Enzo Ferrari in the 1950s that his cars should have a mid-engined layout, which was vital for Ferrari to enter the world of high-performance sports cars.
But besides Ferrari, Pininfarina has also indulged in working with other Italian brands such as Maserati or Alfa Romeo. Later, its fame spread to unexpected brands and it received commissions to design models for Peugeot, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and even Cadillac commissioned Pininfarina from across the pond for its first front-wheel-drive model.

MUCHOS MODELOS MÍTICOS EN LAS IMÁGENES DE LA GALERÍA Y MUCHOS PROTOTIPOS…. QUE HAY DEL PEUGEOT 406 COUPE POR EJEMPLO? EL COUPE MAS BONITO DE LOS 90
Luigi, tienes toda la razón. Habría que ponerlos a todos, pero son solo algunos modelos, y está mencionada Peugeot en el artículo.

Me refería a la galería, que aparecen prototipos y coches que nunca salieron al mercado, que solo los conoces en su casa. Sobrarían, por que a la hora de hablar de Pininfarina, nadie lo va a conocer por esos prototipos que nunca se vendieron y si por modelos que bien habeis puesto como el F40, el Dino, el 512 testarosa o incluso el prototipo de competición P4-5. No digo que hubiera que poner una foto de un Hyunday Matrix, solo que quizas en la galería no aparezcan los modelos mas representativos de Pininfarina, al menos desde mi punto de vista
Añado que no pretendía hacer un critica al post, porque evidentemente es una mención al carrocero, no un análisis de su trabajo. Como exbloguero, espero que sigáis haciendo lo que haceis, cosa que a mi no me da tiempo ya.
