Porsche 911 Spirit 70, a return to the 70s with the new Heritage Design model
Porsche's Heritage Design program adds a new member in 2025 with the new 911 Spirit 70, which will be limited to 1.500 units worldwide.
Porsche started the program in 2020 Heritage Design ’s relationship with the 911 Targa 4S, the models with which the German brand aims to take its current models back to another era with a unique, limited-edition design. The program continued in 2022 with the arrival of the 911 Classic Sport And now, in 2025, the program adds a third model, also a limited edition, called 911 Spirit 70.
With the new Porsche 911 Spirit 70, the German brand has used the current 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet as a base and aims to embody the essence of the models from the 70s and early 80s, a new model for the Heritage Design program and which will therefore be created under strict limited edition of 1.500 units for everyone. And that won't be the only thing, as each buyer will receive a chronograph with details like the glossy black Pasha pattern on the dial, reminiscent of the 911 Spirit 70's upholstery; not to mention the Porsche Lifestyle collection, featuring items like sportswear, accessories, and model cars.

For the Porsche 911 Spirit 70, the brand's paint experts have created the exclusive color Olive Neo, a deep, intense green, which contrasts with parts such as the lower front and rear along with the Sport Classic wheels in Fuchs design painted in color bronzite, it is a golden gray color. Also, let's not forget that the 911 Spirit 70 is a convertible and therefore its soft top also has a contrasting color, in this case it is in black together with the windshield frame.

Its exterior design does not end here, as it also has three decorative stripes in black with a silk gloss finish running across the hood and bonnet, which are reminiscent of the 70s safety decals that were applied to make them easier to see in the rearview mirror during competitions or on the track. On the sides we also have Stickers with Porsche letters and round vinyl for the number in black with a silk sheen. Finally, it features a Porsche badge on the front hood that is almost identical to the 1963 one, along with gold badges from Porsche Exclusive Manufactory On the front wings and rear, Porsche lettering created on a gold-plated galvanized surface.

Inside the Porsche 911 Spirit 70, the iconic leatherette has been used for the upholstery. Pasha print in black combined with olive green and, instead of using velvet jacquard that they used in the past, for the 911 Spirit 70 they have used the combination of woven and flocked yarns. The decorative inserts on the back of the electric seats and the dashboard are also finished in the Pasha pattern. The instrument cluster with a 12,65-inch display is presented with White hands and scale markings in analog format with green numbers, a color combination similar to the one used with the Sport Chrono. The standard equipment is completed with the Basalt Black Club leather interior package and a reversible trunk mat.

Remember that the Porsche 911 Spirit 70, like its base model, is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system, consisting of a high-voltage system, the eTurbo and the electric motor in the new PDK, without forgetting the 3.6-liter boxer engine to achieve a power of 541 hp and a torque of 610 Nm. The new 911 Spirit 70 can now be ordered for a price of 240.000 Euros, while it is expected to reach its future European owners from April and, later, to other markets.
