The BMW X3 M and X4 M, along with their Competition versions, begin going on sale in Spain
The new BMW X3 M and BMW X4 M finally arrive at Spanish dealerships along with their Competition versions, with deliveries starting in August

They took a while to be unveiled, but in February BMW’s M performance division finally revealed the most radical versions of its mid-size SUVs, the X3 M and X4 M, which also arrive from the outset accompanied by the Competition version, featuring small distinctive design details and more power from their engines. After these three months since their presentation, all of them are finally reaching the Spanish market.
To refresh your memory, the BMW X3 M and X4 M feature distinctive elements compared to the base versions, most notably the styling kit which, besides giving them a more aggressive look, also serves an aerodynamic function that is especially useful on vehicles of this size. On the Competition versions, a characteristic feature is that various exterior components are painted in High-Gloss Black, while the 21-inch wheels come in polished black.

For those who find these sporty features insufficient, BMW M offers the M Carbon package, which gives them a touch closer to the racetrack. With the M Carbon package, several exterior elements of the X3 M and X4 M are finished in carbon fibre, while on the respective Competition versions, the carbon fibre rear spoiler is also added if this package is fitted.
Inside the BMW X3 M and X4 M, the brand has worked to maintain their premium character with quality materials and finishes together with a sportier look, featuring specific elements such as the sport leather steering wheel, the upholstery, and the instrument cluster designed by M, among others. On the Competition versions, to add a distinctive touch, M Sport sports seats are fitted as standard, with upholstery that can be two-tone with Alcantara details, plus specific trim for the doors and centre console.

Mechanically, regardless of the model you choose or even if you opt for the Competition version, all of them will have chassis settings and exclusive reinforcements, three setting modes for the M sport suspension, M sport steering as standard, and more powerful brakes to ensure strong stopping power. The big difference in this area lies in the engine: although all of them use the 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo engine, the X3 M and X4 M deliver 480 CV, while on the Competition versions this rises to 510 CV. It is paired with the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, which, unless needed, always sends power to the rear axle.
As I said at the beginning, the BMW X3 M and BMW X4 M, as well as their Competition versions, are now available to order at the brand’s Spanish dealerships, while deliveries to their owners will begin in August. Prices for the Spanish market are as follows:
| MODEL | POWER | PRICE |

| X3 M Competition | 510 CV | 119,900 EUR |
