That the Citroën C4 Cactus is one of the most unusual and original vehicles in the French manufacturer’s range is a fact no one can dispute.

If you want to stand out and have a different vehicle, the Cactus is a great choice, which now strengthens its position with a new 110 CV petrol engine.

The C4 Cactus debuts a 110 CV three-cylinder engine, making it the most powerful version of the Cactus range. Previously, the maximum power available in the Cactus was 100 CV (diesel), so this engine will appeal to those seeking more than decent performance without sacrificing low consumption and very smooth operation.

The Puretech 110 S&S comes standard with the Start&Stop system, which helps reduce fuel consumption even further. Derived from the well-known PureTech 130 already fitted to other models in the PSA group, it is, together with that engine, the only petrol engine in the French group that combines turbocharging with direct injection, which in this engine reaches a pressure of up to 200 bar.

Thanks to its three-cylinder architecture, this Puretech is more compact and lighter than its four-cylinder equivalent. It is estimated that around 20 kilos are saved by fitting this engine. This also benefits consumption, since Citroën C4 Cactus 4the C4 Cactus Puretech 110 S&S homologates a combined-cycle figure of just 4.7 litres per 100 km, equivalent to CO2 emissions of 107 grams per kilometre.

This engine can be combined with three different trims, with a starting price from €17,400 for the Feel trim, followed by €17,880 for the Feel Cool, and ending with €18,700 for the Shine trim. These prices exclude options and any subsequent discounts.
