Dacia Spring Electric Electric Cars ECO SUV
The Dacia Spring now has a price for Spain, and it's much better than you'd expect
You can now reserve the Dacia Spring, the cheapest electric car on the Spanish market, from 16,548 euros

The Dacia Spring arrives to mark a difference among electric cars, just as the brand already does with the Dacia Sandero among combustion-engine cars. But Dacia’s bet with the Spring is even stronger: today there is no electric car cheaper than the Dacia SUV, which, however, doesn’t come with the “low cost” label of the Sandero’s early generations.
The price of the Dacia Spring and what you get in return
For now, Dacia has opened the reservation period for the Dacia Spring, as well as the configurator. Those who finalise their reservation now will have access to the first units and an exclusive test of the car. But how much does the Dacia Spring cost? These are the prices for the two trim levels, Comfort and Comfort Plus.
- Dacia Spring Comfort: 16,548 euros
- Dacia Spring Comfort Plus: 17,621 euros
In both cases the price applies when financing the purchase through the brand’s finance company. For the Dacia Spring Comfort, the monthly payment stays at 134 euros for 49 months with a deposit of 5,500 euros and a final payment of 6,900 euros. On the Comfort Plus the monthly payment would be 149 euros, and the final payment amounts to 7,460 euros. For now Dacia has not disclosed the price without financing.

These prices are compatible with the purchase aid from the Plan Moves, which for an electric vehicle reaches up to 5,500 euros.
The Comfort version comes with air conditioning, central locking with remote, hill start assist, LED headlights, electric windows and mirrors, emergency braking system, speed limiter and six airbags.
The difference in equipment between the Comfort and the Comfort Plus more than justifies the less than 1,100 euro premium, as the better-equipped version adds a spare wheel, rear parking assist with camera, a 7″ touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, body colour in red or blue, body-coloured mirrors and Comfort Plus upholstery.

As we said, there is no cheaper car on the market than the Dacia Spring. And the next cheapest, the Invicta Electric D2S, which costs 19,000 euros, is a lesser car. From there, the trio of the VW e-up!, Skoda Citigo and Seat Mii electric models require 20,000 euros, the Renault Twingo Electric costs 21,700 euros, and the Fiat 500 e is available from 24,000 euros.
Up to 305 km of range in the city
The Dacia Spring is offered in a single mechanical and battery version. With 27.4 kWh of capacity, a range of 230 km on the WLTP combined cycle is claimed, and 305 km in the city. Dacia advertises an 8-year or 120,000 km warranty for the battery.

The homologated average consumption, of just 12 kWh/100 km, allows the Dacia Spring to cover about 35 km a day for six days on a full battery charge. The driver can select an ECO driving mode, which limits engine power delivery and top speed, which drops from 125 km/h to 100 km/h.
Externally, the Dacia Spring is a city car with the look of an SUV, clearly shorter and narrower (about 30 cm) than a Sandero, with a cabin for four occupants and a 290-litre boot, which can exceed 600 litres with the rear seats folded down.

From a standard domestic socket at 2.3 kW, recharging the battery takes nearly 14 hours, and just over 5 hours at 6.6 kW. It is compatible with 30 kW fast charging (as an option), which allows the battery to be charged to 80% in less than an hour. With the MyDacia app it is possible to remotely control battery charging or check the vehicle’s status and location.
