The Italdesign Zerouno Roadster is fully revealed ahead of its official presentation in Geneva

Italdesign has shared with us images of the new Zerouno Roadster. The Italian supercar will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show with its V10.

The number of vehicles unveiled ahead of a motor show never lets up, since manufacturers make sure to stir our desire to see these models in person. This has happened with the supercar from the Italian firm, the Italdesign Zerouno Roadster, which was teased a few days ago. However, the brand has shared with us some images of the final model.

Italdesign’s main goal is to offer unique exclusivity in its models, something it achieves thanks to an unprecedented design and a very limited number of units built. As we already saw with the hardtop version of the Zerouno, this vehicle shares countless elements with the supercars of the VAG group, namely the Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracán. However, the Italian firm has opted to give this model’s styling a 360º turn and the Roadster variant was not going to be any different.

As for the design, we find no major differences compared with the model we already knew. It offers very crisp, sharp lines, which give the whole a strong aggressiveness, with the intention of avoiding any resemblance to the R8 or the Huracán. The main novelty is the possibility of removing the roof, which comes with a targa-style design. Most likely it will split into two panels, which can be stored in the front boot of our Zerouno.

The Italian brand has made no statements about the mechanical setup this new model will get, but we can assume it will keep using the naturally aspirated V10 that powers the two models mentioned above. It is a 10-cylinder engine with 5.2 litres of displacement, capable of delivering 610 CV of power and 560 Nm of torque, figures that allow the Zerouno to reach 100 km/h in just over three seconds and comfortably exceed the 300 km/h barrier.

Another aspect that has not yet been discussed is the price of the Italian supercar. However, considering that the five units of the Coupé version sold for more than 1 million euros, we can infer that the Roadster will follow a similar pattern, since the units produced could exceed 2 million euros.

We will soon know much more about this model, which will be present at the Geneva Motor Show, and the brand will take the opportunity to delight us with new details and future models it may have in mind.
