The Porsche Panamera visits TechArt and gets a new look to gain power

The German tuner has taken on the Porsche Panamera and given it an even more attractive and dynamic look, with exterior changes and more power.

Today we want to introduce you to a new car transformed by one of Germany’s great tuners. The workshop TechArt has been working on the Porsche Panamera and has presented the GrandGT program, which acts on and covers every element of this well-known and highly regarded model. The result: a Porsche Panamera that changes its look and also offers the driver more power.

On the exterior the changes are considerable, as we can see the width has been increased. At the front it adds 50 mm, while at the rear the increase is 80 mm, in both cases thanks to extensions on the wheel arches. This increase gives it a more attractive presence, and it looks even more dynamic than the original model.

On the front bumper we can see larger air intakes, which allow more air through and help cool the brakes. There is also a front spoiler, which improves aerodynamics. The carbon fibre bonnet features a central air outlet that adds more visual power to the model. At the rear there is a new spoiler and a four-part diffuser, with space for the titanium exhausts covered in carbon fibre.

To complete the exterior look, 21- and 22-inch alloy wheels have been added, rounding off the external transformation of this Porsche Panamera. The interior changes too, with Alcantara and leather upholstery in various patterns and designs. The finishes improve the quality, and the logo engraved in several places inside can be found. But that’s not all, as there are also changes to the engine’s power management.

Engine and power changes

TechArt has worked on power management and, although its proposal does not interfere with the original software, it achieves an increase in power and torque in the GTS and Turbo S variants of 182 CV and 150 Nm in the first case, and 90 CV and 130 Nm in the second.

This means that the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine of the Porsche Panamera GTS reaches 660 CV and a maximum torque of 770 Nm, while the same engine in the Porsche Panamera Turbo S produces 709 CV and 950 Nm. As for acceleration, the first reaches 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, while the Turbo S does it in just 3 seconds. Top speed is set at 305 km/h for the GTS and 315 km/h for the Turbo S.
