The Rolls-Royce Cullinan becomes even more aggressive with the changes applied by Novitec Spofec

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is once again handled by Novitec Spofec to update its styling kit, this time for the Series II, also increasing its power

Every brand has, one way or another, ended up succumbing to the SUV craze, and for those that target a particular customer niche it has meant a rise in sales. An example of this is Rolls-Royce, and while the British have always stood out for their luxury saloons and limousines, they could not avoid moving into SUVs, so they presented the Cullinan in 2018, a model that was updated in the middle of last year.

Those who can afford a Rolls-Royce do so mainly for its elegant design, careful details and the craftsmanship that goes into every side of it throughout its manufacturing process, but there are also people who want to transform them to just the right degree to bring out their more sporty and rebellious side, because although these are generally large and heavy vehicles, they still have very powerful engines with great potential.

Special preparation companies have noticed this last point, such as Novitec, which has even created a special division within its company for customising and boosting Rolls-Royce models called Spofec. The Cullinan Series II recently passed through their hands to refresh its looks building on the base Spofec had already created for the Series I, a model that already had its own body and power kit since 2023.

Novitec has always been known for leaving its mark on the vehicles it works on without destroying the original essence of the base model, and with Spofec this was obviously no different. The kit for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II therefore includes, at the front, a new bumper with a design practically similar to the original but with more prominent mouldings on the lower air intakes, all made from exposed carbon fibre, which Novitec claims improve the vehicle’s aerodynamics.

It can be appreciated from the side, but it is from the front or rear that you will notice the Cullinan Series II has grown in width, specifically by 12 centimetres on each side, thanks to the new side panels and oversized wheel arches, which also accommodate the new 24-inch wheels made to measure by Vossen and available in 48 colours in either polished or brushed finishes. At the rear, also in carbon fibre, Spofec fits a discreet spoiler beneath the rear window and a new rear diffuser, very similar in design to the one they created for the Cullinan Series I.

What the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II also inherits from the Series I is its 6.75-litre V12 engine, with an output of 593 CV and 900 Nm of torque. With the fitting of the Spofec N-Tronic control unit, it gains the power already known for the Series I, that is, a considerable increase to 707 CV and 1,060 Nm of torque, allowing this luxurious SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and a limited top speed of 250 km/h. To keep this power under better control, its centre of gravity has been lowered by 35 mm thanks to the new suspension and, to make it even more striking, a new sports exhaust can be fitted, whose butterfly-valve version can be controlled from inside the cabin.
