This is the Praga Bohema, a supercar born in the Czech Republic
The Czech company has been on the market for more than 100 years, but it has gone largely unnoticed and now returns with force and presents a supercar.

The best-known car brand in the Czech Republic is Skoda, but just as in Spain, where there are small brands working to manufacture luxury supercars, there are also others in this country. One of them is more than a hundred years old, although it has remained fairly unnoticed by the general public. It is Praga Cars and, after many years without activity, it has just presented a supercar that is going to impress.
It is called Praga Bohema and is meant as a tribute to the sports car that won the 1000 Miles of Czechoslovakia in 1933. This two-seater with a mid-mounted engine has a very high drag coefficient. A futuristic look that hides many surprises, making it a very interesting model not only for the track but also for enjoying driving on the road.

A lightweight chassis and a limited weight
The chassis is made of carbon fibre, a material that is very present throughout the vehicle, including the bodywork. It is very oriented towards competition, although it can also be driven on the road. The interior features sport seats and the cabin design is intended to be minimalist.

In fact, the only screen that can be seen in the cabin is integrated into the steering wheel, and the rest of the interior has only the basics. The aim of all this is to keep the weight very low. As a result, it comes to 982 kg, below 1,000 kg. For that reason, an engine that is not too powerful is needed to bring this model to life.
The engine used is the PL38DETT, a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 derived from the Nissan GT-R. It has been modified to be mounted in a mid-engine position and to suit the characteristics of the Czech model.
Its height, the turbocharging system and the exhaust have been modified. In this way, the engine delivers 710 CV and a maximum torque of 725 Nm. The engine is paired with a Hewland sequential gearbox, which accentuates the sporty character of the model. There are no details about its performance yet, but a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.3 seconds is expected. Its top speed would be around 300 km/h.
It also features independent suspension with adjustable dampers and wheels with central locking, which measure 18 inches at the front and 19 inches at the rear.
Production this year will be limited to 10 units, but the intention is to build 89 vehicles. The pace will be 20 units per year and the price is set at €1.23 million, excluding taxes.
