Hilux Toyota Range / versions Pick-up
Toyota presents the Hilux Revo Rocco, a more powerful version of its pick-up
This special version is starting to go on sale in Japan, with specific details that make it a more attractive vehicle for users.

Japan is not just big cities, which combine tradition and the latest architectural trends. It is also a country with almost 80% mountainous terrain, so off-road vehicles are quite necessary. Pick-ups are very practical vehicles used for working on that kind of terrain, so Japanese brands offer several models of this type for their local market.
The Toyota Hilux is one of the most popular and, to celebrate its success, from time to time they release special editions. This is the case of the Toyota Hilux Revo Rocc, which has just been presented in Japan and which we will soon get to know. According to Toyota, it is a “tough companion” with an “aggressive personality“, so the description fits quite well.

In terms of styling, its image has been reinforced. A new, more resistant bumper has been added. The wheel arches have been replaced with specific ones and a sporty bar with additional lights has been fitted. A reinforced underbody plate has been installed, along with 18-inch black alloy wheels fitted with all-terrain tyres.
The grille is also customised for this version, and LED headlights have been added, featuring metallic surrounds. They also get black contrast trim, an exclusive bed liner and a tailgate with lift assist, which makes access to the rear easier.
The Toyota Hilux Revo Rocco is based on the Hilux Z. This means that inside we will find a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth seats and an infotainment system controlled by an eight-inch screen. As for driver assistance systems, it features a panoramic view monitor, lane change warning and pre-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection.
Engine
The Toyota Hilux Revo Rocco is fitted with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. This produces 148 CV and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. It is paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox and a four-wheel drive system.
Toyota is already accepting orders for this special variant, which has been launched at a price of 4,772,000 yen, equivalent to approximately 30,400 euros. However, the model will be reserved, at least for now, for the Japanese market.
