849 Testarossa Ferrari Hybrid Cars Supercars
Arriving now: the Ferrari 849 Testarossa and the 849 Testarossa Spider, two luxury models built to be enjoyed in grand style
The new Ferrari 849 Testarossa marks a new stage for Ferrari, with a hybrid engine supported by three electric motors that deliver 1,050 CV of power.

For a long time, the name Testarossa was one of the most recognisable in Ferrari. So it is no surprise that it returns to the brand’s lineup in the new model just unveiled. The Ferrari 849 Testarossa is joined by a convertible version, so every driver can choose the configuration that suits them best.
The exterior has a retro look, but with innovative elements that make it a 21st-century car, even though it carries a name from decades ago. The aerodynamics have been developed to make it a highly dynamic car that is ready to give its all on the track. The rear spoiler delivers very efficient behaviour and keeps the vehicle under control even at 250 km/h, generating a downforce of 415 kg at that speed.

The twin tail contributes to this and gives it a very attractive look that defines its style. The cooling system has also been designed to offer an efficient solution for extracting hot air away from the areas where it is generated. The 20-inch wheels have a turbine-style design, which helps expel hot air outwards.
As for the mechanics, this model in both versions features cable-operated brakes and ABS Evo, and together with the FIVE (Ferrari Integrated Vehicle Estimator) system, they keep the power of this supercar under control and ensure the driving experience is always flawless.

Technological and elegant interior
The cabin offers a restrained yet practical look. Physical controls have been added, which are more intuitive and easier to use than touch controls. It also offers connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with MyFerrari Connect. A wireless smartphone charger has been installed in the central console.

Engine in both versions
The Ferrari 849 Testarossa features a twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors. Two of them are located at the front and the third at the rear. Together they add 220 CV to the power provided by the combustion engine and raise the output to 1,050 CV.
This configuration delivers an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, and a remarkable top speed of 330 km/h. This hybrid model can travel up to 25 kilometres in electric mode, although for this it only uses the front axle.
Spider version
The convertible version can retract its roof in 14 seconds, at speeds of up to 45 km/h. Its top speed is 330 km/h, and it has been presented in Modena Yellow bodywork, which gives it a very attractive appearance.
The coupé version of the new Ferrari 849 Testarossa will go on sale in the first half of 2026, while the Spider will have to wait until the second half of next year.
