Ford has been a regular in rallying for many years. Currently, his professional participation centres on the Fiesta WRC, which must fight against the Volkswagen Polo or the Citroën. We all remember that stage when the cars were from a higher segment and we could see the first two generations of the Ford Focus lining up at the start line. Now, that is part of the annals of the World Rally Championship.

Ford brings us a Focus ST inspired by rallying for SEMA 2015. The show dedicated to modifications and accessories is the perfect stage for letting the imagination run wild for the many brands and tuners who will gather there from 3 November, the date on which it opens its doors. The firm of the blue oval has fitted its C-segment model with an aggressive bodykit and it looks pretty good.

The bodykit of the Ford Focus ST ‘Rally Innovation’ consists of a front splitter, a new grille incorporating an LED light strip, a bonnet with air intakes to cool the engine, side skirts, wider wheel arches for the front and rear wings, a new, larger rear spoiler and 19-inch Rays 57 Xtreme wheels finished in graphite and wrapped in Nitto NT555 tyres. On a white base, the Focus ST features red accents and a Beat-Sonic Blaid antenna.

Although we do not have photos of the interior, Ford confirms that the model features Bride Euroster II+C competition seats, adjustable, with four-point safety harnesses. Accompanying these is a four-point anti-roll cage, LED interior lighting and a premium audio system signed by Sony. In order to help reduce weight, the rear seats have been removed.

In terms of performance, the Ford Focus ST that will be exhibited at SEMA 2015 features a Greddy Airinx intake system, a sports exhaust system and a new aluminium intercooler, as well as a Cobb Tuning Accessport V3 power chip that will take it from the original 250 CV and 366 Nm of torque. In addition to the equipment mentioned, it has coilover suspension, grooved brake discs and an adjustable Cobb Tuning shift plate. Alongside the Focus ST, we will find three other modified models on the Ford stand.
