Ford Focus EcoBoost: more technology and better efficiency at the service of the driver
The Ford Focus will feature the new EcoBoost Mild Hybrid engine, which combines the 1.0-litre combustion engine with mild hybrid technology.

Just a few days ago we were able to learn details about the new Ford Focus ST, and now the brand with the blue oval announces that it is already taking reservations for the Ford Focus Ecoboost Hybrid, a version with an EcoBoost engine paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The engine it fits, in combination with the mild hybrid system, delivers an improvement in fuel consumption and polluting gas emissions.
The EcoBoost 1.0 engine delivers up to 17% more performance than the Focus fitted with the 1.5-litre EcoBoost engine, which produces 150 CV. In the case of the Focus EcoBoost Hybrid, output rises to 155 CV and its emissions are rated at 93 g/km. This Mild Hybrid configuration earns it the ECO label from the DGT, so it can enter the restricted traffic zones of cities.

Equipment of the Focus EcoBoost Hybrid
The equipment of the new Ford Focus EcoBoost Hybrid offers, in addition to good performance thanks to its mild hybrid engine, equipment aimed at making driving far more engaging and enjoyable. One of its features is a 12.3-inch True Color LCD instrument panel.

Connectivity is highlighted by the standard fitment of the FordPass Connect modem. Depending on the trim level, features are included that enhance the driving and usage experience. For example, the Ford Focus Trend + includes elements that add that extra value for business or private use. Standard equipment includes a wireless charger for portable devices, as well as navigation with voice control through the SYNC 3 system, operated via an 8-inch multimedia screen.
The EcoBoost engine option is available across the entire Focus range, so buyers of the new Ford Focus can choose this engine variant in any of the available versions, to enjoy the Focus configuration they prefer. The Focus joins the other hybrid vehicles offered by the American brand, such as the passenger cars Puma, Kuga and Fiesta, and the commercial vehicles Ford Transit and Ford Transit Custom.
