Pagani Huayra R EVO: the new hypercar with 900 CV, V12-R engine, BREMBO brakes and Pirelli wheels. What more could you ask for?
Pagani improves one of its most successful models thanks to a programme in which it exchanges impressions with its customers in order to improve its models. This is the result.

Pagani Automobili has everything ready to present the Huayra R Evo, the new convertible hypercar that enhances the experiences of customers in the Arte en Pista programme. Focusing on this exclusive club of track Hypercars owners, the Pagani team explored new stylistic and technical potential, resulting in a vehicle that is even more exciting and extreme.
In 2021, for the launch of the Huayra R, Pagani Automobili announced the start of the new Arte en Pista programme, a calendar rich in personalised events that allows owners of the new model, together with those of the Zonda R and Zonda Revolución, to take it to its highest levels of performance.

The essence of Arte en Pista consists of non-competitive track events at the world’s most prestigious FIA circuits, offering both high-octane sessions and leisure moments. The format includes a complete track experience and technical assistance from the Pagani team, including the technical director for data analysis, track engineers and mechanics, as well as a motorsport physiotherapist and nutritionist; professional drivers are also present, helping to improve the customer’s driving skills.
A project born from racing
The design of this new hypercar pays homage to the elegance of the Le Mans cars that raced the circuits in the 1960s and 1970s, including the long-tail ‘codalunga‘ prototypes. With these stylistic foundations, they meticulously tackled the aerodynamics, the design and every minute detail, adhering to the high standards synonymous with Pagani. The Huayra R Evo can match the performance levels of today’s Le Mans Prototype 2 racing cars.

This fascinating project involved the whole team for approximately two years, with extensive testing and participation in Arte en Pista track events. We gathered valuable insights from our customers, working closely with long-standing partners such as Pirelli and Brembo to develop first-class components.
A perfect symphony between design and aerodynamics
Compared with the standard Huayra, several modifications have been added, all aimed at improving it. Its aerodynamic design has gained efficiency through a sophisticated system of air ducts that manage the distribution of the optimal cooling required for the brake discs, calipers and water radiator. This duct system is integrated and supported by the splitter, extended forward by 101 mm (approx. 4 inches), with a dedicated aerodynamic profile that enhances the car’s capabilities.

Alongside it, the double row of bonnet louvres contributes to aerodynamic downforce on the front axle, essential for maximum control during corner entry. These features are complemented by a 190 mm extension (approx. 7.5 inches) at the rear, following the ‘codalunga’ (long tail) concept.
The V12-R Evo engine
The strategic collaboration between Pagani and HWA AG remains the cornerstone of the Huayra R Evo project, bringing to life the improved and enhanced V12-R Evo engine, unleashing the full potential of the new track hypercar. Equipped with the most modern technology derived from the world of racing, the new engine delivers 900 CV (662 kW) at 8,750 rpm with a maximum torque of 770 Nm, available directly from 5,800 to 8,200 rpm.

The Huayra R Evo offers outstanding track performance with a rev limit of 9,200 rpm. The engineers at HWA AG and Pagani did not focus solely on increasing power; they also intervened on other crucial components, such as the intake manifold, which has been optimised with a new trumpet design and new camshafts to improve the delicate process. The team also worked on the precise calibration of the control unit and the design of the exhaust system to enhance performance and deliver a distinctive sound. Throughout the refinement process, every element was meticulously crafted with care and passion to endow this vehicle with extraordinary power.
A new lift damper
A significant improvement is also seen in the suspension system: they have integrated a lift damper, a third hydraulic element that separates the management of the body’s ride heights from the independent dampers of the four wheels. With double-wishbone suspension in forged aluminium alloy, coil springs and electronically controlled active dampers. The advanced and refined elastokinematics of the new hypercar allow greater roll recovery and optimised correction of suspension deflection to ensure ideal tyre grip in every situation.

BREMBO carbon-ceramic brakes
The new CCM-R self-ventilated carbon-ceramic discs, paired with exclusive racing brake pads, give the Huayra R Evo first-class braking power and are, of course, fitted by BREMBO. The front brake system features a 100% increase in the surface area of the friction zones on the discs, thanks to a double line of slotted holes, and a 14% increase in the braking area on the disc and pads. This improvement reduces the thermal energy absorbed by the pad and further enhances disc durability and stability.
P Zero™ Slick tyres
The Huayra R Evo features brand-new P Zero™ Slick tyres, 280/680 R19 at the front and 345/725 R20 at the rear, the result of an exhaustive development process that starts with the structure to withstand demanding dynamic loads and an increased tread width. Available in Dry and Wet versions, designed to allow the Huayra R Evo to excel in any condition, the new Pirelli tyre is engineered to provide the grip needed for millimetre-precise handling through every corner.
