Novitec, through its Spofec Overdose division, presents the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Dawn, its latest project, which will be limited to just three units

We have previously seen how the Rolls-Royce models have served as the basis for preparations by numerous companies. A good example is the Dawn that recently passed through the workshops of Mansory with truly spectacular results, and now, the Dawn is once again the star, this time thanks to Novitec and its Spofec Overdose division, the one responsible for the company’s most outrageous preparations.

The Rolls-Royce Dawn is a truly spectacular convertible whichever way you look at it in its standard configuration, but the work carried out by Novitec undoubtedly gives us a car that will turn heads wherever it goes. In fact, I should say three cars, since this kit, both aesthetic and performance-related, will only be available to three lucky owners worldwide, so you can imagine how special it is.

Through Spofec Overdose, Novitec has developed an aesthetic and aerodynamic kit that gives the Rolls-Royce Dawn an aggressive, imposing and much sportier look. As is usual, this kit is made of carbon fibre and consists of a new front bumper with more pronounced lines, especially at its lower section, which connects with the new widened wheel arches that increase the Dawn’s track width by 13 centimetres at the front and 7 centimetres at the rear.

These wheel arches also house the massive 22-inch forged wheels with a nine-double-spoke design created by specialist Vossen, which are fitted with tyres measuring 265/35 at the front axle and 295/30 at the rear. These tyres can sit even closer to the wheel arches thanks to the option of an air suspension calibrated specifically for the new wheels, which allows you to lower the ride height by 40 mm at speeds up to 140 km/h. Finally, at the rear it receives, as expected, a new bumper that links with the rear wheel arches, carrying the Dawn’s visual weight from the front to the back, as well as a discreet spoiler on the boot lid.

Novitec does not specify any interior changes, since, as is usual with the German tuner, the customer can choose from the many options available. The changes come in the engine, which, let us remember, is a 6,600 cc TwinPower Turbo V12 that in standard form produces 563 CV and 780 Nm of torque, but thanks to the new control unit and the new exhaust line now delivers 686 CV together with 980 Nm of torque, allowing it to reach 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h, electronically limited.
