Enyaq Skoda Electric Cars Coupés SUV
Starting in early 2022, the Škoda Enyaq will add a new body style with the Coupé iV variant
After getting off to a very good start since its market launch, the Škoda Enyaq will expand its range in early 2022 with the Coupé iV variant

The Škoda Enyaq iV has been with us for some time now, and this e-SUV from the Czech brand has got off to a very strong start, with around 70,000 orders for this model registered since its market launch last year. It is without doubt a very interesting model, something we could confirm first-hand this summer when we road-tested it, but to keep enjoying success and reach a wider audience, the Enyaq iV will add a new variant in early 2022.
We don’t have a specific date yet and, as you can see in the images accompanying this article, we still have to view it under a thick layer of camouflage, but Škoda has already confirmed that in early 2022 the Enyaq Coupé iV variant will arrive. It will be sold in three power variants and comes with an even more efficient setup than the traditional SUV variant, offering a drag coefficient of 0.247, which translates into an increase in battery range.

The upcoming Škoda Enyaq Coupé iV will have slightly larger dimensions, with a length of 4,653 mm and a height of 1,617 mm, which means 4 mm and 1 mm more respectively than the Enyaq iV, while the width and wheelbase remain unchanged. Even though it is under camouflage, we can see that the Enyaq Coupé iV has a roofline that slopes gently from the B-pillar to the rear and, it is worth noting that it will come as standard with a glass panoramic roof.

As for the interior of the Škoda Enyaq Coupé iV, the brand does not provide data on rear seat headroom, which should be slightly reduced but, on the other hand, it does state that the boot capacity is set at 570 litres, so it is not far off the 585 litres offered by the traditional SUV body. Like the latter, the Enyaq Coupé iV will offer a wide selection of designs and options to customise the interior to our liking, which can be complemented by the available technology options that add to the already generous standard equipment.

Mechanically, the Škoda Enyaq Coupé iV will be offered in three power levels. First, we have the iV 60, which features an electric motor producing 132 kW sent to the rear axle through a single-speed gearbox, plus a 62 kWh battery; the next variant, the iV 80, also sends 150 kW to the rear axle and can optionally be fitted with the more powerful 82 kWh battery; finally, the iV 80x adds an 80 kW motor on the front axle, achieving a combined output of 195 kW sent to all four wheels, and it is mandatorily paired with the 82 kWh battery.
