A290 Alpine Electric Cars Sports Cars
The Alpine A290 Rallye is the rally car that arrives ready to win
The Alpine A290 Rallye has been designed to offer all the functionality of the road model, but with characteristics typical of a competition vehicle

Thinking of a competition vehicle powered by electricity was something that, until very recently, seemed impossible. But things have changed, and the Alpine A290 Rallye aims to make electric mobility a benchmark for these demanding events. Alpine’s rally versions have always lived up to the challenge, and now history repeats itself with this electric model.
This model has been designed both for drivers who are taking on competition for the first time and for veterans who want to test themselves with an electric vehicle. With the Alpine A290, the brand wants to keep moving forward on sustainability in motorsport, and for that reason this vehicle offers technology suited to performing its role more efficiently.

This model is based on the Alpine A290, the brand’s first sporty electric city car. The model’s characteristics allow it to deliver performance well suited to competition, but with the modifications applied to it, it is very practical and offers better solutions for overcoming challenges.
Among the modifications the Alpine A290 has received, the suspension stands out: it has been fitted with ALP Racing Suspension dampers, which offer more complete control of the vehicle when it takes part in a race. They allow the body height to be adjusted according to the terrain, helping to keep mobility continuous. The inclination can also be adjusted, a feature inherited from the production car. The suspension springs and the anti-roll bars have been designed for this variant and offer greater stiffness to provide optimal support for the body under the harsh conditions of rallies.

As for the brakes, the front has six-piston monobloc calipers and large discs, 350 mm in diameter. At the rear there are single-piston calipers on 280 mm discs. The ABS developed by Alpine Racing optimises the use of the brakes. A hydraulic handbrake helps keep this competition vehicle under control.
Powertrain of the Alpine A290 Rallye
The motor fitted to this model delivers 220 CV and a maximum torque of 300 Nm, which is transmitted to the front axle through a ZF limited-slip self-locking differential. The reduction gear has been redesigned to optimise its use, and the electronic management improves its operation. The battery charges from 20 to 80% with a charging power of 100 kW in 28 minutes.
On the safety front, this model is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite to ensure that occupants can feel at ease on board during the event. The cabin has been adapted to offer as much comfort as possible to the driver and co-driver, while not forgetting that this is a competition car and its equipment is geared accordingly.
