The Denza Z reveals more details ahead of its arrival on the Spanish market
The Denza Z is about to land in Europe, and in the meantime this electric supercar now previews details of its equipment

Denza, the premium brand of BYD, is about to launch across the various European markets an electric sports car named Z, whose spectacular specifications we learned not long ago. Despite its jaw-dropping figures, Denza has not forgotten to offer a vehicle with all of today’s conveniences, so before revealing its official price, they give us a small preview of what awaits us.
With a length of 4,780 mm, Denza will offer the Z in Coupé and Spider bodies under a perfectly recognisable silhouette, with muscular front and rear wings together with a stylised, low waistline that evidences an especially low driving position. There will be a version named Racing, which will be distinguished from the rest by its front air intake, front splitter in carbon fibre, vortex generators on the flat underbody, ventilation grilles across the bodywork and an optional carbon-fibre rear spoiler adjustable in three positions, improvements that allow it to generate downforce of up to 1,060 kg at 350 km/h.

There will also be a Denza Z Special Edition that goes a step further in terms of sportiness, as its bodywork features double-layer composite materials with competition specifications, including panels made entirely of carbon fibre. It is equipped with a drag reduction system (DRS), which coordinates an active front diffuser and a flap on the rear spoiler that reduces the drag coefficient by up to 40%, while generating more than 2,000 kg of downforce at 300 km/h. While the rest of the versions certify an output of 1,604 CV and 1,240 Nm of torque, the Z Special Edition raises its power to 2,000 CV, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.7 seconds.

If we now enter the interior of the Denza Z, the brand offers a cabin centred on a racing-inspired steering wheel, integrating six physical buttons in its lower area for quick access to functions such as Track and Boost modes. Both the driver’s and passenger’s seats feature eight-way electric adjustment, four-way electric lumbar support, heating, ventilation and massage, and the Devialet sound system speakers are integrated into the headrests themselves (with 12 speakers for the Coupé and Racing versions, while the Spider drops to 10 speakers).

For the seat upholstery as well as the remaining trim, Denza has used high-quality materials in the Z, such as coverings with suede-effect, carbon fibre and metallic-finish inserts. The atmosphere takes on a certain mystique thanks to intelligent ambient lighting with multiple themes, which reacts to the driving mode you have selected; not forgetting the 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster and the 12.8-inch infotainment system with integrated Google, which provides access to Google Maps, Google Assistant and the Google Play Store.
In terms of safety, front, side and curtain airbags are included, along with driver assistance and driving aids such as driver fatigue and distraction detection, front and rear cross-traffic alert with braking function, lane departure warning, intelligent cruise control and blind-spot detection.
