The new Audi RS4 Avant 2020 is starting to shed its camouflage
The Audi RS4 Avant 2020 will feature a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine capable of delivering 450 CV and a maximum torque of 600 Nm.

The brand with the four rings has surprised the entire industry with the recent facelift it has given to the family of the Audi A4 and the Audi S4. Now, we can only wait for the Audi RS4 Avant to receive similar treatment for its restyling. A few weeks ago, the Audi RS4 Avant 2020 was spotted during the winter season, and now it has been caught again with some high-performance parts.
While the camouflage is largely the same, the spy photographers managed to get closer than ever to the Audi RS4 2020, providing a more detailed image of the upcoming model from Audi Sport.

Just as has happened with the revised Audi A4 and Audi S4, the Audi RS4 Avant will be equipped with new LED headlights and rear light clusters, as well as a three-dimensional grille of new design, with large honeycomb inserts for the high-performance model. The bumpers will have a unique new design on the new Audi RS4 and will be more pronounced at the rear.
The rear will be dominated by a diffuser flanked by the oval exhaust outlets of the brand with the four rings. Other design features of the new Audi RS4 Avant will be the typical wheel arches. The model’s centre of gravity will be lower and it will only be available with alloy wheels.

Audi RS4 Avant 2020, a highly anticipated restyling
The interior of the new Audi RS4 Avant 2020 is not expected to bring very radical changes, although everything points to the brand with the four rings updating the MMI infotainment and information system with the latest version revealed on the Audi A4 and Audi S4 models.
The new high-performance model from the German manufacturer will bring a standard central touchscreen with revised graphics and menus, which no longer features a control on the centre console. Obviously, the Audi RS4 Avant will also benefit from the new driver assistance systems that debuted on the Audi A4 2020, including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function for automatic distance control and predictive efficiency assist.
As regards the powertrain, the Audi RS4 Avant is not expected to bring many significant changes, unless the engineers at Audi Sport find a way to increase power and reduce emissions at the same time. Some reports claim it will use the same engine: a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 capable of generating 450 CV and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, the same figures offered by the current Audi RS4.

This engine will be coupled to a standard eight-speed automatic gearbox and quattro all-wheel drive. It is important to note that the V6 engine allows the Audi RS4 Avant to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 280 km/h with the optional RS Dynamics package.
Although these are not official figures, everything points to the new Audi RS4 2020 being officially presented during the next edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will take place next September.
