A10 Leapmotor Electric Cars Compact
The new Leapmotor A10 is expected to reach Europe as well, but under a different name
With the new A10, Leapmotor aims to bring electric mobility to a much broader audience, offering a vehicle with a truly accessible price without giving up some technological features typical of much more expensive cars.
Leapmotor took advantage of the Guangzhou Auto Show to unveil a new model within its range of electric vehicles for the Chinese market. This is the A10, a compact vehicle that stands out for its extraordinarily competitive price. The most affordable version is available in this Asian country for just under 100,000 yuan, a little over 12,000 euros at the current exchange rate, and can already be reserved.
Although there is no official confirmation yet, everything points to the Chinese manufacturer planning to sell this model in other markets outside China, including Europe. If this news is finally confirmed, this urban electric car will reach the continent under a different name, which could be B03X.

The A10 will reach Chinese dealerships during the first half of 2026. At 4.31 metres long, 1.83 metres wide and 1.68 metres high, its dimensions place it among the most compact models in the brand, sharing certain design features with the C10. Although Leapmotor has not yet revealed all its technical specifications, it has confirmed that the A10 will be equipped with an LFP battery pack, which will allow it to cover up to 500 km on a single charge, always under the Chinese CLTC homologation cycle.
When recharging with direct current, this urban electric car can increase its state of charge from 30 to 80 percent in just 16 minutes. However, the charging time starting from 10 percent is not known, as is usual for these measurements to allow comparisons.
Few or none offer more for less
It is also worth noting that, despite its moderate price, the A10 will come quite well equipped. As standard it will include 18-inch wheels, a glass panoramic roof and a multimedia system featuring the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor. Likewise, the driver assistance systems on the vehicle rely on the Snapdragon 8650 chip and it also has a LiDAR sensor. A curious detail is the six blue exterior lights that illuminate when the driving assistance systems are active, a feature we have already seen on vehicles in much higher segments.

Outside China, the model will be distributed by Leapmotor International, the joint venture created between the Chinese manufacturer and Stellantis, and will be sold, as already mentioned, under the name B03X. In Europe, vehicles around 4.3 metres long fall within segment B, so this designation makes sense.
