The Suzuki Across arrives in Spain with the facelift it has received
The Suzuki Across is presented with a restyle that renews its exterior look but especially its interior, with a new dashboard and technologies

Suzuki is not a brand that launches new generations of its models as frequently as other brands, and an example of this is the Across, a hybrid SUV that received updates in 2023 that polished an already very well-rounded product. Now, two years later, the Japanese brand presents a new restyle, somewhat deeper, that renews the image of the Across.
The changes begin in a very visible way at the front, where, incidentally, the Suzuki continues to implement the “hammerhead” design language. In this way we see how the Across takes on a look closer to a large SUV thanks to the new bumper with more pronounced and prominent lines, which is still divided into two levels, housing in the upper one the small grille with the brand logo and in the lower one the large front air intake, all now with straight lines. These changes also give the Across a new light signature through headlights now shaped like a “C”.

At the rear, changes consistent with what we saw at the front also occur. In this area the Suzuki Across now features a new tailgate that obviously adapts its shapes to the new rear bumper, which has lower protections in silver to match the one also fitted at the front, not forgetting the new rear light cluster with a finer and more elegant design. The new Suzuki Across can be chosen in the colours Massive Gray, Ever Rest, Super White and Attitude Black.

The most significant changes to the new Suzuki Across are found inside, where the dashboard has been completely modified following the “island architecture” design concept, in which the main functions are logically grouped together. From the front seats, which are equipped with electric and heated seats, we can see an instrument panel with a 12.3-inch digital display positioned lower to improve visibility and, in the centre, a 12.9-inch touchscreen dedicated to air conditioning, audio and navigation. Not forgetting the technology section, it also features a Head-Up Display with three levels of customisation, as well as a smartphone charger and five USB-C ports spread around the cabin.

This introduction of new technologies has also meant that, together with the redesigned dashboard, the centre console and the door panels have also been modified, the latter also featuring new handles on the inside. Speaking of doors, the boot tailgate incorporates power opening with hands-free function, giving access to a boot that offers a capacity of 446 litres, which can be increased by folding down the seats, which now have the feature of lying practically flat.

The new Suzuki Across will continue to carry technologies that its predecessor already had, such as the 3D panoramic view camera, Lane Trace Assist, Emergency Driving Stop System, Lane Departure Alert or Front Cross Traffic Alert, among others. In addition, alongside these, the Across will also incorporate new ones such as Pre-Collision System or the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
Mechanically there are no surprises: the Suzuki Across will continue to use its plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a four-cylinder petrol engine of 2,500 cc together with two electric motors which, besides reducing consumption and emissions, serve to create the E-Four all-wheel drive. Not to mention a battery with increased capacity that gives it a few more kilometres of range in fully electric mode. In this regard, the driver can select the Normal, ECO and Sport driving modes as well as the E-Four Trail mode, which sets the torque split between axles and integrates control of braking and drive power.
