EBRO introduces a series of new features to the S800 PHEV straight away
After just over a year on the market, EBRO is introducing some minor improvements to the S800 PHEV to boost its appeal

The return of EBRO as a car brand under the EV Motors umbrella and the Chinese giant Chery could not have been more successful. It currently offers four models in its line-up, with a choice of engines that covers the needs of virtually any customer. One of those models is the S800, a large SUV with seating for up to seven people that began production at the start of last year.
It is not common for a brand to introduce new features to a model just a year and a half after it goes into production and is sold to the public, but EBRO has done so with the S800 PHEV, an update focused on several areas with the aim of boosting the appeal of one of the brand’s representative models with Spanish roots, covering aspects such as design, comfort and equipment.

The main aesthetic novelty for the EBRO S800 PHEV is found on the exterior, and more specifically at the front, which now features a grille with a geometric square design. This grille is part of the evolution of EBRO’s design language, which seeks to bring to the vehicle concepts such as order, light and personality that characterise Barcelona, the city that inspires the brand as the birthplace of EBRO’s industrial project.
Moving to the interior, the new features EBRO presents for the S800 PHEV focus on equipping it with a black roof lining, thereby increasing the sense of comfort and premium character of the cabin. The cabin will now also be more comfortable in the front seats if you opt for the Luxury trim, as a six-way power-adjustable seat is added for the front passenger.

There are no changes to the engine, as the EBRO S800 PHEV will continue to use a 1.5 TGDI DHE petrol engine and a high-efficiency electric system, delivering a combined output of 279 CV and an all-electric range of up to 90 kilometres, so that the total range exceeds 1,100 kilometres. It is also worth remembering that the EBRO S800 is available with a conventional petrol combustion engine, using a 1.6 TGDI block producing 147 CV and 275 Nm of torque.
The availability and price of the updated EBRO S800 PHEV have not been confirmed, but the brand states that it will be available at its dealer network within the next few weeks.
