Honda introduces minor changes to the ZR-V without touching its engine

Three years ago Honda entered the mid-size SUV segment with a new proposal, the ZR-V, aimed at attracting a younger audience. Now, with the model already established in a segment as competitive as the C-SUV, the brand is introducing a series of updates to the ZR-V, not especially profound but essential to keep this model current and up to date.
The most significant exterior changes focus on new 18-inch alloy wheels featuring a Honda logo in black and silver finish, giving the car a more distinctive look. More specifically, in the Advance trim, the lower bumper trim pieces for the front and rear bumpers, side steps, and wheel arch mouldings in the same colour as the rest of the bodywork are now standard equipment. Finally, overall, the colour palette is updated with the new Urban Grey Pearl and Denim Blue Metallic, which replace Radiant Red Metallic and Still Night Blue Pearl.

Turning to the interior, Honda has focused especially on improving the technology side of the ZR-V. That is why, in the Sport trim, a new 10.2-inch screen is now available for the infotainment system, with new graphics and easier reading of all the available information, along with a dark-coloured roof lining. Meanwhile, in the Advance trim, the upholstery options in light colours have been expanded, and ventilated front seats are added as standard equipment.

Both the Sport and Advance trims now include, as standard equipment, the new driver monitoring camera system, which forms part of the comprehensive Honda SENSING technology suite. This technology monitors the driver’s level of attention to the road in real time, helping to increase safety while driving.

What doesn’t change is what lies under the bonnet: the e:HEV hybrid system continues to use Honda’s i-MMD technology, combining a 2,000 cc petrol engine with two electric motors to deliver a total output of 184 CV. This hybrid system stands out for its low noise levels, refinement, and linear power delivery, as well as a combined consumption of around 5.7 l/100 km.
The 2027 Honda ZR-V with all the changes above is now available at dealerships, with prices the brand has maintained, starting from €37,950 for the Sport trim and from €42,450 for the Advance trim.
