Mamba GT3, the most brutal M4 preparation you'll see today

Following the first renders in 2016, Hoffy Automobiles has turned the Mamba GT3 into a reality, a preparation of the BMW M4 that transforms it into a beast

The BMW M4 is undoubtedly a good foundation for many tuners to take on as the basis for their modifications. One example is the one carried out by Hamann earlier this year, where, besides making the relevant aesthetic and aerodynamic changes, the German tuner managed to extract no less than 517 CV and 700 Nm, turning this coupé into one of the fastest M4s in the world, if not the fastest.

Unfortunately for Hamann, that title may soon be snatched away after only a few months, because the American company Hoffy Automobiles has managed to create the most powerful BMW M4 in the world. Its project is called Mamba GT3, a certainly evocative name for a very brutal preparation that gives you an idea of its intentions just by looking at its exterior. There’s no need to show us more to know that something serious lies beneath.

Born as a prototype in early 2016, of which only a few renders existed, Hoffy Automobiles has finally decided to bring the Mamba GT3 to reality, and the result couldn’t be more spectacular. Its exterior styling has been extensively modified to create a fully functional aerodynamic kit made of carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer CFRP, which also features specifications for DTM and GTE competition. This kit includes elements such as the front bumper with front splitter, an oversized bonnet, widened wheel arches that channel air toward the rear, new side skirts, a rear bumper with a wide, sculpted diffuser, and a huge rear spoiler.

The interior has not been modified as much as the exterior, but the changes are still quite obvious, such as the Alcantara that now covers it on all sides, including the sports bucket seats and the steering wheel, as well as the addition of a fire extinguisher and a small screen on the dashboard to display useful information. Optionally, if the customer wishes, they can install a roll cage for greater protection in the event of an accident.

But under the bonnet there is also more excitement: its 3,000 cc TwinPower Turbo engine has had its electronics updated to deliver no less than 750 CV of power, and is also assisted by the new exhaust system signed by Eisenmann. It is a real shame that Hoffy Automobiles does not provide more data on the engine’s performance, as it would undoubtedly be surprising. Finally, to handle all this power, the Mamba GT3 fits a more powerful new braking system and a new suspension that allow it to tackle high speeds with greater composure.
