Manhart turns this BMW M5 into a beast with 928 CV
The German tuner has unveiled this model, which will offer more power and a better driving experience for its owner, who has personalized it.

The current BMW M5 is about to say goodbye very soon and will be replaced by a new generation, which will be the first to offer a plug-in hybrid engine. This will use a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 combustion block, which together with the electric system will be able to deliver a total of 750 CV. But before saying goodbye, Manhart has worked on an M5 to give it new life and greater power.
This latest variant with a pure combustion engine has passed through the tuner’s workshops to become a machine that delivers 928 CV and is named MH5 900. To surpass the 600 to 650 CV offered by the different versions of this model, Manhart has worked on the engine and boosted it spectacularly.

The V8 engine has undergone several changes that elevate it above the most common version of the model. Among them, we find a carbon-fibre intake system, larger turbos, a intercooler from Wagner Tuning, Carillo pistons and H-Shafted connecting rods. In addition, the ECU has also received upgrades, so this BMW M5 is capable of generating 1,240 Nm of torque.

The sound has also improved and, to give the engine a greater presence, the exhaust system has been replaced with one featuring valves, which allows the sound emitted by the engine to be regulated during operation. A new set of lowered springs handles the suspension duties, and the brakes remain the same as on the model it is based on, with no changes.
Only five units will be made available to customers, the first of which has already left. It is the one you can see in the images, and it has been purchased by a customer who gave the instructions to build this vehicle. This MH5 900 is painted in dark blue, with copper-coloured stickers applied over it. It is complemented by the carbon-fibre kit signed by Manhart.
The front splitter is larger and the grille has been redesigned, in addition to featuring side canards. A carbon-fibre rear spoiler, the front diffuser and 21-inch Concave One wheels complete the aesthetic upgrades. Inside, the components have also been modified, such as the upholstery. This is now brown leather, as is the roof. The roof also features Alcantara lining and small light points that create a more relaxing atmosphere for the passengers.
This is complemented by other details such as an extra screen on the dashboard, sport seats and details with the Manhart badge.
