New Citroën C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso, Citroën's spaceship, more attractive

The team at Citroën is excited: today they are publicly launching the update of one of their best-known models, the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso.
It is a relatively minor update in aesthetic terms, but it improves the appeal of these models thanks to better equipment and new mechanical options.
Citroën’s current Picasso range is synonymous with success within the chevron brand. Both MPVs are really popular, and in their second generation they continue to attract a legion of fans delighted with their design and practicality.
The second generation of the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso arrived on the market in 2013, and after three years on sale, the brand has decided to introduce a slight update to refresh the model’s image.

The C4 Picasso is now visually more attractive, with more extensive and technological equipment
In design terms, both models benefit from a more attractive front end thanks to new metallic-tone trim pieces, both lower and upper. In addition, new paint colours, redesigned 17″ alloy wheels and rear lights with a 3D effect are added across all trims, whereas until now they were only available on the most equipped versions.
Inside, the dashboard design is retained, although the perceived quality is improved and personalisation options are expanded thanks to new finishes and upholsteries. The equipment is now more extensive, incorporating features such as a new CITROËN Connect Nav 3D navigation system or a “hands-free” tailgate opening. The adaptive cruise control, which until now only acted on engine braking, can finally apply the brakes.
Mechanically, the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso expand their offer with a new petrol version. This is the PureTech 130 S&S EAT6 variant, which combines the good responsiveness of the already well-proven 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder engine producing 130 CV with the new EAT6 automatic gearbox with torque converter. The diesel and petrol options that were previously available are retained, with the BlueHDi versions standing out for their good performance, frugal consumption and strong output.
