The Audi R8 gets a facelift for the Paris Motor Show
Audi has given its Audi R8 a few subtle touches, which it will unveil in its new version at the Paris Motor Show.

The new version of the Audi R8, the model that has caused so much talk, will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, running from 29 September to 14 October. Indeed, Audi has only restyled its GT, adding a few aesthetic touches. With these small changes, they hope to last a couple of years, when a new generation is expected to be presented.
The brand with the four rings will present a new range featuring three different versions: V8, V10 and the all-new V10 Plus Coupé. Naturally, we will be able to choose between the two body styles, Coupé and Spyder. As for the design, it will feature a new bumper both at the front and at the rear. It will be offered in bright red and white, as well as two metallic and five pearlescent colours. It will also come standard with LED headlights.
A V8 and a V10 with S Tronic dual-clutch gearbox

The R8 will, as I have said, feature a V8 engine and a V10. The first will displace 4.8 litres and be capable of delivering the beastly 430 CV at 7,000 rpm. It won’t be short on torque either, as it will provide 430 Nm between 4,500 and 6,000 rpm. With the S Tronic dual-clutch transmission (seven speeds), it will take just 4.3 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h, three tenths faster than with the manual gearbox. Top speed will be 300 km/h.
The V10 will be equipped with a 5.2-litre FSI. An engine that will deliver 530 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm and 525 CV at 8,000. It will reach a top speed of 316 km/h and go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds with the automatic gearbox. I’m surprised it has better figures than the R8 LMS Ultra with which Audi competes in the now-defunct GT1.
As for consumption, you’d better brace yourself, since the V8 will drink 12.4 litres per 100 km, while the V10 will guzzle up to 13.1 litres…
