The interior of the Cayenne Electric Porsche previews the path the brand will follow in future models
The first images of the interior of the Cayenne Electric Porsche reveal the direction the brand’s future interiors and technologies will take

As you know, Porsche is currently immersed in several projects, including the development and fine-tuning of the Cayenne Electric ahead of its production phase. The brand has already put this new model through demanding tests, such as the hill climb Shelsley Walsh in England, one of the oldest motorsport events in the world. Now Porsche offers us a few glimpses of the interior of the Cayenne Electric, showing part of its design and the technology it will incorporate, which will serve as the basis for future models.
Flow Display Curve
We live in an era where more importance is given to how many screens we have on the dashboard, and how large they are, than to the sensations the car conveys. We have moved from seeking sportiness, refined chassis and suspensions that hold the car firmly and transmit the roughness of the road, to driving that feels more like sitting in a comfortable cinema seat, with screens of higher resolution than the television in your home, applications for everything, and even video games to pass the idle moments. Unfortunately, this is the reality, and Porsche, like any brand that wants to sell its products in today’s world, is no stranger to it, and the interior of the Cayenne Electric is a clear example.

According to the brand, the Porsche Digital Interaction operating concept marks a new milestone and a path forward in digitalisation. Part of this is the new Flow Display Curve with OLED technology fitted to the Cayenne Electric which, together with other screens, forms the largest continuous digital surface Porsche has ever had. Thus we find a 14.25-inch screen for the instrument cluster, which will display information such as the power meter, navigation, driver assistance systems and the infotainment system. In addition, the passenger can optionally have another 14.9-inch screen, offering entertainment, application control and video streaming, even while driving. Not forgetting the Head-Up Display with augmented reality and an effective size of 87 inches, which shows navigation arrows and lane guidance.

Occupants of the new Porsche Cayenne Electric will be able to enjoy a wide range of streaming and gaming functions, but above all, what will stand out is the AI voice assistant, developed to understand with complete reliability everything from complex instructions to spontaneous follow-up questions, without needing to repeat the wake word. In this regard, with the Voice Pilot function, it will be possible to control systems such as climate control, seat heating and ambient lighting, as well as recognise addresses, points of interest and traffic information in natural language. Furthermore, the level of digitalisation and technology increases in the Cayenne Electric with the new Porsche Digital Key
, with which both smartphones and smartwatches can be used as car keys.
Greater comfort and personalisation
As I was saying, riding in a car nowadays is increasingly less about enjoying the pleasure of driving and more about feeling inside it as if you were at home, and the Porsche Cayenne Electric goes a long way in this direction. That is why passengers will enjoy comfort features such as electrically adjustable rear seats as standard or the various ambient modes that create different atmospheres through sound, lighting and climate control, which can be combined with a sliding panoramic roof
with variable light control. This panoramic roof is the largest ever fitted to a Porsche, consisting of a front section that opens like a classic sliding roof, while the entire surface can switch from transparent to matt thanks to electrically controlled liquid crystal film. There are two additional semi-transparent modes offering 40 and 60 % opacity.
It is also worth mentioning the new surface heating incorporated in the Cayenne Electric, since with it the occupants will have heating not only in the seats but also in other large contact areas such as the armrests and sections of the door panels. Thanks to this heating, we not only achieve a warmer and more pleasant interior, but also greater efficiency thanks to a more even distribution of heat compared with conventional hot-air systems.
Finally, the Cayenne Electric becomes the most customisable Cayenne the German brand has ever built§h46§, as it lets us choose from 3 colour combinations for the cabin, along with four interior packs and five detail packs, offering a great deal of possibilities for its future owners. Among these combinations, we will of course have the classic leather variants, along with new colours such as Magnesium Grey, Lavender and Sage Grey, but if we prefer a non-leather interior, we can choose Race-Tex upholstery with Pepita textile pattern, all with the option of contrasting stitching. Added to this is a greater and new variety of trims and decorative details, with different materials and colour options.
