Ford Mustang Mach-E Electric Cars SUV
The Mustang Mach-e receives new comfort and driver-assistance features as standard
Ford introduces interesting new equipment features on the Mustang Mach-e, a model that has already managed to outsell the petrol-powered Mustang

The Ford Mustang is one of the great icons and standard-bearers of American “muscle cars”, a model whose name in no way reflects the new electric era of mobility we are witnessing, but whose surname Ford has chosen to use for what would be its first fully electric SUV. Yes, the Mustang, together with the name Mach-e, took on an SUV body and a fully electric powertrain, which is crazy.
But Ford’s move has proved masterful, as they have used a body style that for several years now and still today remains the benchmark, adapted to the new mobility solutions, and with the Mustang name that always proves attractive to any customer. So much so that Ford has confirmed that, to date, the Mustang Mach-e has managed to outsell the petrol-powered Mustang by a factor of eight to one in 2022.
In this way, Ford’s formula with the Mustang Mach-e is proving a great success, since besides what has been said above, it also offers a vehicle with good performance and really attractive equipment. It is precisely in this last area that Ford wants to press harder to attract even more customers and, to do so, it will now be offered as standard with the Intelligent Automated Cruise Control 2.0 from Ford. This system uses information from the navigation system and the front camera to automatically adjust the vehicle’s speed, relying not only on speed limit signs but also on the curves, bends and roundabouts ahead.

This will not be the only new feature on the Ford Mustang Mach-e, since if we opt for the body colour options Vapor Blue and Carbonized Grey we will also have two new alloy wheel designs. More specifically, the Premium trim was previously offered only on all-wheel-drive versions, but now those who opt for the rear-wheel-drive version with the 91 kWh extended-range battery can also choose it; a trim that includes, among other elements, 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, adaptive LED headlights with automatic anti-dazzle high beam, front seats with eight-way power adjustment, and red brake calipers combined with black exterior detailing.
Precisely, customers who also opt for the 91 kWh extended-range battery and all-wheel drive will now have a greater towing capacity, which until now stood at 750 kg and is now increased to 1,500 kg, meaning they can now tow larger caravans and trailers.
