This is how impressive the active aerodynamics of the Zenvo TSR-S are, live

The Zenvo TSR-S features some of the most impressive active aerodynamics in the world, and today we have been able to see them live thanks to this video.

It was in 2018 when Zenvo wanted to do justice to its impressive TSR with a road-going version, which, under the name TSR-S, was presented at that year’s Geneva Motor Show. Contemporary audiences were not so impressed by the performance of this Danish hypercar, since it is already customary for this segment to play with outputs above 1,000 CV; but they were impressed by its active aerodynamics. Zenvo had the expertise to develop a rear wing capable of adjusting the aerodynamic downforce according to how the car is driven.

We already revealed the secrets of this at the time, but it is only now that we have had the chance to see it live. Thanks to a YouTube video, we are not only witnesses to the thunderous sound emerging from its twin-turbo V8, but also to the harmonious movements the wing makes in order to improve the dynamics of the TSR-S.

It is true that, in general terms, we are not looking at a car that differs much from the Zenvo ST1, but believe us when we say that the nuances of the TSR-1 make an enormous difference. Aesthetically, we see a vigorous, muscular and imposing vehicle, features that act as the identity stamp of the Danish brand.

Nevertheless, despite the clear supercar traits this TSR-S displays on its own, the cherry on top is its wing. In addition to its exuberant dimensions, it also has the ability to move according to the driver’s inputs; that is, if we brake, it will rise to benefit braking; if we turn to the right, it will tilt to the left and vice versa.

Besides carrying out an admirable feat of engineering capable of revolutionising the automotive sector, Zenvo also needed aerodynamics up to the level of the performance. These demand such capability because of their parent, a 5.8-litre twin-turbo V8 capable of producing a whopping 1,194 CV and 1,100 Nm of torque, figures that catapult the TSR-S to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds.

No, don’t bother checking your wallet or your bank account: Zenvo only produced five units of this automotive monument and they have all already been allocated. Either way, this is how the Danish brand has chosen to offer a solution that we will soon see not only on other of its models, but also on competitors’ vehicles.
