Toyota restructures the trim line-up of the CH-R and introduces more complete equipment
Toyota restructures the trim levels of the C-HR and expands them with more complete equipment, in addition to including new equipment and colours for all of them

As you know, the Toyota CH-R is one of the brand’s best-selling models both in Europe, where it ranks in the top 10 in several countries, and in Spain, where in 2024 it was the sixth best-selling model in the C-SUV segment. Its importance is vital for the brand, which is why it is now capitalising on its momentum to make it even more attractive, with a restructured trim line-up and higher equipment levels across the range.
It is worth recalling that at the start of this year the Toyota CH-R benefited from the arrival of the Spirit trim, which sits at an intermediate step compared with the rest and which, given its recent introduction, is not subject to changes. Before looking at the novelties introduced by Toyota in the remaining trims, we must bear in mind how the CH-R range is now restructured, so as not to get confused: the entry-level trim is now called Business Plus, followed by the Advance, Spirit, GR Sport trim and the new GR Sport Plus trim.

With this clear, we can see that the new Business Plus trim will be available with the Hybrid 140 and Plug-in Hybrid 220 powertrains. Both come as standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, although it is with the plug-in hybrid that the equipment is more complete, with elements such as heated front seats and steering wheel, driver’s seat with electric lumbar adjustment, dark mottled fabric upholstery and ambient lighting, among others. The next trim, Advance, is also available with the same powertrains and includes new mottled fabric upholstery, as well as a new design for the 18-inch wheels.

Setting aside the Spirit trim, presented a few months ago and which obviously remains unchanged, we find the sporty GR Sport trim, available with the Hybrid 200 and Plug-in Hybrid 220 powertrains and, as a novelty, now also with the Hybrid 140. In the first two powertrains the C-HR comes as standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, while with the Hybrid 140 they are 19-inch in black, along with other equipment such as a Head-Up Display and two-tone paint, with the option of a panoramic roof.
Finally, we arrive at the new GR Sport Plus trim, which aims to reinforce the sporty character of this version with higher-level technological equipment, starting with the two-tone bodywork, as well as the front light unit with automatic height adjustment, static cornering lights, 360º rear-view camera, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, among others.

Beyond all these individual changes for each trim, the entire C-HR range will benefit from novelties such as the camera-based Driver Drowsiness Detection System, linked to the Vehicle Emergency Stop System. The colour palette is expanded with the new Thunder Grey and Royal Blue, both available for all trims except the latter, which is not available on the GR Sport Plus trim. Precisely on this last trim, three colours are available for the two-tone bodywork: Iceberg Pearl White, Emotional Red and Polar Silver.
The prices of the 2026 C-HR start from 30,750 euros for the C-HR Hybrid 140 in the Business trim, which already includes a 5,000-euro discount from the brand; while the C-HR Plug-in Hybrid 220 starts at 34,250 euros, also in the Business trim, with a discount of 4,500 euros applied.
