XPENG will begin accepting orders in Europe for its G6 and G9 models this very summer
XPENG reinforces its commitment to innovation, combining advanced technology, sustainability and comfort in its electric SUVs, with which it now also wants to conquer the European market.
The Chinese manufacturer XPENG has announced significant news affecting its G6 and G9 models in Europe. From mid-July 2025, European customers will be able to reserve the renewed versions of both models, with deliveries scheduled for the last quarter of the year.
Although all the technical details and the price list of the different versions available will not be known until shortly before their launch, XPENG already allows interested customers to express their interest in either of these two models through its official website for several European countries, among which are the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and France.

Both models will incorporate the new generation of the manufacturer’s 800V platform, which stands out for its use of silicon carbide semiconductors to improve efficiency. In addition, these models will be equipped with LFP lithium iron phosphate batteries with 5C ultra-fast charging in all their versions, being capable of increasing the state of charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 12 minutes.
What can we expect from XPENG’s offering in Europe?
Although XPENG has not revealed the technical specifications of the vehicles that will arrive in Europe, by looking at the specification sheet of the models sold in the Chinese market we can draw some conclusions. In China, the G6 is equipped with two different battery packs of 68.5 and 80.8 kWh of capacity, which according to the manufacturer allow it to travel between 625 and 725 km. Always under the Chinese CLTC homologation cycle, so we can take for granted that the range figures in Europe will be lower.
An important point to note is that 5C charging allows the model with the highest-capacity battery pack to reach up to 1000 kW of charging power.

In China, the G6 has simplified its range from six to three versions, all rear-wheel drive and 220 kW of power. It remains to be seen, therefore, whether Europe will get a version with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive. Aesthetically, the G6 keeps a subtly refreshed design, with a length of 4.76 metres and a wheelbase of 2.89 metres.
At the very top of the Chinese manufacturer’s range
The G9, on the other hand, at 4.89 metres long with a wheelbase of 3 metres, is available in China with battery packs of 79 and 93.1 kWh. Its range is quite similar to that of the G6. In addition to a rear-wheel drive version with 258 kW of power, the G9 will be available in a dual-motor, all-wheel drive configuration, with a combined output of 423 kW.

Finally, it should be noted that XPENG’s success or failure in Europe will be strongly conditioned by the prices set by the Chinese manufacturer. In China, the G6 is sold from 43,600 euros at the exchange rate, while the G9 is priced at 59,600 euros.
