You can now buy your Audi S4, although you need a healthy wallet.

The S4 version of the Audi is a high-performance variant of the brand’s mid-size saloon, the Audi A4. Despite its great performance, it will not be the most dynamic of the range, as that position is usually taken by the Audi RS4.
Comparing the exterior of a Audi S4 with an A4, we can see that the sporty version has sharper, more aggressive lines and various modifications that give it a more dynamic appearance, such as larger air intakes at the front, four exhaust outlets, a distinctive rear diffuser and chrome-finished mirror housings.
Inside the cabin the dynamic character is also emphasised with sports seats, specific upholstery, a sports steering wheel and an instrument cluster different from the A4 range, plus red stitching on multiple seams and “S” badges. Brushed matt aluminium inserts add a touch of elegance to a very sporty ensemble.

The equipment, both standard systems and the many options, is very comprehensive, including driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control with the useful Stop&Go function, which helps in traffic jams by taking control of the pedals and steering. We should not forget the LED lighting systems with dynamic indicators, the Audi Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster, the MMI Navigation Plus system with Audi Connect for 3 years, or the three-zone climate control.
As in any sports version, the most special part of the car lies in its mechanics. The engine is a 3.0 TFSI six-cylinder V-engine, with turbo and direct injection, which has just been redesigned to deliver a maximum output of 354 CV and 500 Nm of torque. Thanks to these figures, the 8-speed tiptronic gearbox and the traditional quattro all-wheel drive system, the Audi S4 can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. Meanwhile, its homologated consumption is 7.3 l/100 km in the saloon version and two tenths more for the Audi S4 Avant.

The suspension uses five-link arrangements on both axles to ensure high stability in all conditions and lowers the body height by 23 mm, while the power steering has variable ratio (optional) which provides a greater or lesser steering ratio depending on driving conditions.
The brakes are high-performance, with large perforated discs and six-piston fixed calipers bearing the letter S on the front axle. The standard wheels are 18 inches with low-profile 245/40 tyres.
It is now available in our market, priced at 72,800 euros for the four-door version and 74,850 euros for the Audi S4 Avant estate.
