EBRO s700 s800 Hybrid Cars ECO SUV
EBRO S700 PHEV and S800 PHEV: plug-in hybrids arrive, with up to 1,200 km of range and an unbeatable price

EBRO has entered the Spanish market in the best possible way: with two highly competitive SUVs that we have already been able to drive, the S700 and the S800. And now, just weeks after their market launch, it adds the very interesting plug-in hybrid versions to the range.
In both cases the powertrain is the same, with a 1.5 GTDI petrol engine producing 105 kW (143 CV) and an electric motor of 155 kW (211 CV), for a total system output of almost 350 CV and a maximum system torque of 525 Nm. The 18.3 kWh battery allows an electric-mode range of 90 km to be homologated, reaching a total combined range of 1,200 km. With DC fast charging of up to 40 kW, which allows going from 30 to 80% capacity in just 19 minutes, both EBRO PHEV models are also well suited to long journeys, benefiting from the low consumption this technology achieves while the battery has charge.

Even so, once the battery is depleted they continue to operate as full hybrids, with consumption even lower than the non-hybridised petrol versions: 6 l/100 km on the WLTP combined cycle for the S700 PHEV, and 7.6 l/100 km for the S800 PHEV. As is typical of this technology, both SUVs enjoy all the advantages of the DGT CERO emissions label. And compared with the non-hybridised petrol versions, the S700 retains a 500-litre boot capacity, while the S800 continues to offer three rows of seats and seven seats.
Prices of the EBRO S700 PHEV and S800 PHEV
Both models go on sale in the Luxury trim, the highest in the range. In the case of the S700 PHEV this means standard equipment such as 18-inch wheels, an electric tailgate, panoramic roof, head-up display, heated and ventilated electric front seats, Eco Skin leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and start, a 12.3-inch multimedia system and SONY audio. The S800 adds 19-inch wheels, a 15.6-inch multimedia system and a massage function for the front seats.

The recommended retail price of the S700 PHEV is 41,990 euros, but with the launch discounts from the brand it drops to 37,680 euros, and it is available from 35,260 euros or a monthly payment from 249 euros when financing the purchase. In the case of the S800 PHEV, the price starts at 46,990 euros, which with the launch promotion falls to 42,279 euros, and from 39,860 euros or a monthly payment of 269 euros when financing. In both cases these prices do not include possible government purchase incentives, which both could benefit from when the MOVES Plan is reactivated.
As with the petrol versions, there is currently no plug-in hybrid SUV on the market that offers the balance between power, price, electric range and equipment of these two EBRO models.
