It took a while, but the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II is finally going through Novitec as well
The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, unveiled a year ago, can now take on a more radical look, with a sporty yet elegant appearance thanks to Novitec

I think most of us can agree that, regardless of the market and customer it is aimed at, the Rolls-Royce Ghost is one of the most beautiful luxury saloons in the world, and with a little imagination it can be transformed into something diametrically opposed and radical. Rolls-Royce itself did so, but in a rather subtle way, with the Black Badge version.
Obviously Rolls-Royce is not going to betray its philosophy or its own customers by creating a radical, sporty version of one of its models; it does not fit its image. But for that there are programmes dedicated to preparing the brand’s models, such as the Spofec programme from the specialist Novitec, which the Ghost has already gone through, but it was in 2022, and on this model before the restyle it underwent.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II was presented in early autumn 2024, and a few days later the Black Badge version was unveiled. It is the latter that Novitec has chosen as the basis for its new preparation. In line with all of Novitec’s work, its kit for the Ghost Series II elegantly modifies the front, starting with a new bumper that signals its intentions with larger air intakes, to which are added discreet vertically positioned LED daytime running lights at each end. This new bumper, although it may appear to be a simple design, fulfils its aerodynamic function by exerting greater downforce on the front axle at high speeds.

From the side, the Ghost Series II has a strikingly eye-catching and radical look, because thanks to the Spofec suspension kit its height is lowered by no less than 35 mm. From this perspective the look is reinforced by the exclusive 22-inch forged wheels developed in collaboration with Vossen, featuring a design of fine double spokes on two planes, available in 48 different colours as well as various surface finishes. At the rear, Novitec fits a discreet spoiler together with a new rear bumper and diffuser, which can be chosen with or without the cut-outs for the exhaust pipes.

As for its mechanics, let us recall that the Ghost Series II features the spectacular 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, which as standard delivers 600 CV. This is increased to 706 CV, together with 1,002 Nm of torque, thanks to Novitec’s N-Tronic module. Thanks to this change, this colossal beast, which let us remember weighs two and a half tonnes, accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, while the top speed remains limited to 250 km/h so as not to overly stress the tyres. As if that were not enough, you can fit two types of exhaust which will make the V12 produce a sound befitting its character.
