Novitec's Ferrari Daytona SP3 roars even louder thanks to its new exhaust

This Ferrari Daytona SP3 has been modified by Novitec, which has changed the exhaust system to increase power and improve the sound.

Ferrari is one of the great names in the automotive industry, the kind that always offers models a step above the rest, even those dedicated to the exclusive world of supercars. Perhaps that is precisely why they are always in the sights of tuners who want to add an extra touch and make their models even more striking than they already are when they leave the factory. Novitec has accustomed us to very spectacular variants of Ferrari, and now it shows us another one.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a very special model and looks remarkable, but Novitec believed it could improve it even further. This model is fitted with the most powerful naturally aspirated V12 ever built by Ferrari, capable of delivering 840 CV, but the tuner wanted to improve its performance and also its sound.

The new exhaust system fitted to this model increases power by 28 CV, bringing output to 868 CV. That is not all the new exhaust offers: it also makes the sound more powerful and creates a sonic signature that stays in the memory of anyone who hears it.

This sound can be managed by the driver thanks to the electronically controlled sound management system. With it, the driver can go from a subtle note to the sound one expects to hear from a V12 on a circuit. However, nothing changes in the appearance of the rear of the vehicle. Everything looks exactly the same at first glance.

But improvements have been made beneath the skin of the supercar. The entire exhaust system is thermally insulated, and a gold layer can even be added to improve this insulation and heat management. The rest of the bodywork also remains unchanged, keeping all the visual presence of the standard car.

What has changed are the wheels, which have an exclusive design. They are Vossen forged wheels, 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. For now, there is no information on whether the suspension has been modified.

Interior customisation

Inside the cabin, Novitec offers the personalisation that is always part of its range. There is the option to use any shade of Alcantara or leather, so there is a wide variety that lets each driver sit in the material they prefer. The starting price of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 was two million euros, but a few months ago the last car of the 600-unit series was auctioned for 26 million dollars, so we do not know what the price of this special unit might be.
