Stellantis brand vehicles already have access to the Tesla Superchargers in North America

This is an important step aimed at improving the experience of electric vehicle owners of the Stellantis group brands, significantly expanding the options for fast and reliable charging on long journeys or even in day-to-day use.

Stellantis Group vehicles with fully electric powertrains can now access the wide network of Tesla Superchargers in North America to charge, using an NACS adapter. Excellent news for owners of electric vehicles from brands such as Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT or Maserati, among others.

Stellantis announced some time ago its decision to adopt the North American NACS charging standard. Initially, access to the Tesla Superchargers was expected to begin in early 2026 in the United States and Canada, and in 2027 in Japan and South Korea, but no specific date had been announced. Now, that announcement has finally become a reality.

To connect current vehicles of any Stellantis brand sold in North America that have a CCS1 port, Stellantis offers the official Free2move Charge NACS-CCS1 DC Adapter. It is sold exclusively through certified low-emission vehicle (LEV) dealers and the Mopar online store. The company warns that it only supports its own adapters and does not recommend or support third-party ones.

Alternatively, at Tesla Supercharger stations equipped with Magic Dock — a CCS1 adapter that connects automatically to make charging easier for vehicles without an NACS charging port — no additional adapter is needed.

Tesla has made NACS the charging standard in North America

With this addition, virtually all relevant electric vehicle manufacturers in North America now offer access to the extensive Tesla Supercharger network, which exceeds 27,500 charging points. Many other manufacturers, such as Ford, General Motors, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai-Kia, Volkswagen, Rivian, Lucid, Polestar, Porsche, Volvo, Toyota, Honda and Nissan, among others, had already taken this step, either through NACS adapters, native ports or the Magic Dock.

Stellantis has also integrated the Tesla Supercharger stations into its Free2move Charge app. As a result, users only need to add a payment method to locate stations, start charging sessions and pay for the service, directly from their mobile devices.

Finally, it should be noted that in 2027 the Dodge Charger Daytona will be the first model in the group to come standard with an NACS port. This will allow owners of this electric muscle car to charge at Tesla Superchargers without needing an adapter.
